Hello all, I'm kind of confused with all the rules and where to find them. I want to start a khorne daemons are both 40k and Sigmar but since they released a bunch of stuff where do I find the updated rules? Is it still a good idea to have the daemons Codex or wrath of rapture box set enough?

You need Codex: Chaos Daemons and Chapter Approved: 2018, ideally.

You can, IIRC, play 40K Matched Play Power Level games with just the Datasheets in the W&R box.

I have no idea about AoS.

The Fall of Kronstaat IV
Война Народная | Voyna Narodnaya | The People's War - 2,765pts painted (updated 06/05/20)
Волшебная Сказка | Volshebnaya Skazka | A Fairy Tale (updated 29/12/19, ep10 - And All That Could Have Been)
Kabal of The Violet Heart (updated 02/02/2020)

All 'crimes' should be treasured if they bring you pleasure somehow.

You'll probably want the codex. There are new datasheets in Chapter Approved 2018 as well (including point updates). Vigilus Ablaze has a formation for Khorne, but I wouldn't stress about that.

To reiterate the above, the codex and CA 2018 and you'll be good to go for 40k.

For Sigmar, the gods are subdivided so you'd need the Khorne specific battletombe if that's the god of your choice. Blades of Khorne's the one you're after - brand spanking, this one.

If you have an iPad, get the digital daemon codex. Then you can skip CA2018 (the points will be up to date).

For Sigmar, you'll need the Blades of Khorne book. And it only came out last month, so points are perfectly fine.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Due to work, I can usually only ship any sales or trades out on Saturday morning. Please trade/purchase with this in mind.

I'd eat my hat if there wasn't a daemons v2 round the corner, so a digital copy is a fair shout.

Wouldn't someone also need wrath and rapture? The new flesh hounds and karnak aren't in the codex. Or are they in CA?

The FAQ contains updated Data Sheets for Fiends, Flesh Hounds and Bloodcrushers. But it doesn't seem to contain the points values from the respective publications.

So the all-round carefree package would probably be: Codex, Chapter Approved 2018 and Wrath and Rapture. The smart, cost-sensitive solution would probably be: get the Codex, download the FAQ and calculate points with an army builder like Battlescribe which tracks the latest points changes for you, anyway.

My armies:
Eldar
Necron
Chaos Space Marines
Grey Knights
Imperial Knights
Death Guard
