Battlescribe updaters are in the process of combining the Forgeworld index entries with the basic books. So it's either in an Index or mixed in with the normal marine stuff.

You'll use the Sicaran a lot more honestly. I own a few super heavies and titans and they're mostly for display

Whelp, my Sicaran just came in, I'm in the process of cleaning it up.
What is the best glue for this thing? I've had terrible luck with superglue on GW's finecast models, and I'm wondering if I'll have the same problems with this FW kit.

I'm a big fan of lock tight flex-gel superglue.
Holds well and is a little more forgiving than traditional super glue.

Did you wash it with water and soap ? I used 2k epoxy glue 5 minutes super fast for the bigger parts, where you mix the two components together.

I did wash it (this time, hadn't done that to previous resin models that I recall) - I'm trying some Gorilla glue on the overall hull, we'll see how it holds once cured. Probably will try the lock tight flex gel superglue for the smaller parts, that is what I generally use on all my other models.

Have you checked the fit? If the two parts aren't touching, no glue is going to be much help.

I use Gorilla glue, the brush-nozzle one, find it works well, sticks fast so i dont have to hold it too long, and doesnt go leaving that horrible white mess as it cures.

This is a good point. I purchased two Sicarans at a show and they both required filling to get the pieces to mate up. Also my barrels were miscast but by the time I'd got round to building them it was too late to get replacements

I was just checking the model this morning, and something must have slipped, as I noticed it wasn’t sitting flat - and then discovered it was crooked. Looked like the back engine plate somehow got out of alignment, and the bottom plate (that I’d boiled to flatten the warp in it) looked twisted.
I had to break the bond, reset the pieces (they do fit snugly, lots of filing and test-fitting before gluing) and I’ll check the whole thing again when I get home. Don’t know if the Gorilla glue hadn’t fully cured, but I was able to easily break the initial bonds with just a bit of flexxing the misaligned joints. Hopefully after a full cure this time around, it’ll be even stronger - at least to casual handling.

Forgeworld are usually ok if you can quote the order details and check sheet etc, though I haven't tried to ask for a replacement part like a year later, but I have bee given multiple replacements of the same part/kit. Stupid broken banner pole, shame it was needed for the model to look right as I usually avoid them is possible.

Forgeworld used to attend Salute in London which is where I picked them up, but this was easily 3-4 years ago now...
I could possibly find the statement on my bank account but definitely no longer have the receipt.
I may contact them on the off chance they'll help

Cyanoacrylate superglue isn't so strong under shearing as it is is under tension (i.e. if you pull the parts apart it's strong, if you twist or slide them apart it's weak).

The problem with the Sicarian is that it is almost identical to a Deredeo stat and pt wise but the Deredeo is pretty much better in every way. Has an invuln, get's chapter tactics etc.

My Sicaran's gun barrels were somewhat warped. I heated them up with a hair dryer and straightened them out.

Eh, he's pointing out a serious issue for marines in general. The tanks are almost never better than dreadnoughts yet cost more. Even compared to box dreads, tanks generally struggle. Tanks are probably one of the worst unit options for marines...despite being cool.
