So over the last couple of weeks I heard this one guy at our group make a theory that Alpharius or Omegon or even both are Sly Marbo I don’t know that much of the lore to see if their are any connections so I decided to post this here to see what the community think let me know if there is proof for or against it

Just as the Emperor is a being created by the collective conciousness of ancient shamans; Sly Marbo is the collective of Silvester Stalone, Arnold Schwarzennegger and Jean-Claude Van Damme (and possibly others) given new form in the warp.

Ha while I think its a funny and even sorta fitting theory I don't think it holds much water. Especially considering the size difference between marlboro and alpharius.

That could be but no one really knows Marbo’s height some say he is big as a ork there is also the rumor of him being a missing Primarch and Alpharius or Omegon were last heard going to catachan the unit was wiped out and it was said Marbo had I think it was 12 maybe 10 brothers but they all died expect him also the alpha legion had infiltrated almost every part of the imperium with spies even other legions at the time and who knows how many are still active or even teaching their children to be spies for the hydra also Marbo hunts lictors for sport I could only picture Omegon doing something like that he was the shadow to Alpharius’s light and even then that light was more like a cloudy day

Alpharius/Omegon aren't Sly Marbo. Sly Marbo is Alpharius and Omegon, existing at two different and distinct point in time&place and yet exist in the same point in time & place.

The warp is a figment of Sly Marbo's imagination.

Well they are small for a Primarch, he is tall for a human (being a Catachan). Round their size down and his up to seven foot. Now they are the same size!

First, Stalone isn't dead.

Second, Sly Marbo is obviously the Emperor pretending to be Sly Marbo.

You know that its fun to say that Sly Marbo is the a missing Primarch or Chuck Norris, but I bet there is a good case for him just being a Perpetual.

Alphariis/Omegon only perfected the art of infiltration and stealth because Sly Marbo caught them talking gak about him like he wouldn't hear.

Ok I’m seeing a lot stuff that kinda isn’t relevant to the subject I ask the person who told me this theory and asked for some of the evidence that he have so here are the points
1 Alpharius/Omegon and a group of alpha legion attacked catachan but are MIA presumably dead

2 it’s said that Sly is about as tall as a small ork were not given what type of ork but since it says ork not orcoid that means it the height could be that of a space marine and Alpharius Omegon are the size of a space marine until gw releases a official height for a ork it’s up to speculation

3 It is said “that he was one of ten brothers who were inducted into the Catachan XII Regiment, and that during fighting against WAAAGH! Urgok on Ryza all were killed.” If we count how many Primarchs were loyal to the imperium during the Hersey it’s exactly 11 counting both Primarchs included if they’re counted as one the its ten some are dead others are missing presumed dead.

4 he has been awarded the Star of Terra on multiple occasions I’m sorry for saying this but no regular guardsmen can achieve this feet not even a catachan jungle fighter this gets into space marine territory of over powered

5 it is also said “He is known to possess unparalleled military skills, including the ability to handle a Sniper Rifle like a Vindicare Assassin and survival and ambush skills that rival those of any member of the Adeptus Astartes” that also means alpha legion the masters of infiltration

6 it is also said “At some point after the Heresy, word reaches the High Lords of a Chaos Lord claiming to be Alpharius ravaging the moons of the Danevra Sub-sector. Debate rages about whether this could potentially be the case, for the Primarch’s death has been recorded more than once across the span of Imperial history. Nonetheless, the Grand Master of Assassins dispatches a force of six Vindicare Assassins. Over a number of years they identify and slay a dozen Alpha Legion champions bearing the name of Alpharius, but the reports of raids upon the sub-sector’s mining operations only intensify. Five years later, the heads of all six Vindicare Assassins are found frozen in the food storage halls of the High Lords. the only way to kill these guys is to either A send a overwhelming force or B be better at the game than them ie be a better sniper

Sly Marbo is nothing but a tongue-in-cheek homage to Rambo. He’s no primarch, though it may be possible he’s a perpetual in some fashion.

Well I don’t know what to think I’m just giving an idea to see if anyone else has had this theory maybe compare notes and references and it is also to see the reaction of others

I am pretty sure that Sly Marbo is just the Emperor in disguise. Think about it, have you ever seen them in the same room at the same time?

Mate, he's a throwback joke character to a time when folk were not so grim and serious about the lore.

Marbo is not a joke. Marbo is what God wishes he could be. The only joke is comparing Him to a mere primarch that He could kill with as little effort as a human killing an ant.

Marbo is a C'tan in hiding. He is relying on the jungle fighters around him and the deadly environments in which he fights to keep the Necrions from claiming him.

Marbo is the Unnamed Grand Master of Assassins. He was an assassin recruited from an inquisitors retinue, recruited from the lone survivor of a Jungle fighter regiment. In self imposed exile, he returned to Catachan to fight alongside the people of his birth and some of the the deadliest humans in the galaxy.

Marbo is a living saint. Unbeknownst to himself, the God-Emperor acts through him, finding in his disillusion and grim fatal outlook a kindred spirit. His incredible feats are manifestations of the Emperor's will.

Marbo is your dad. Due to temporal distortion while fighting on a world close to a warpstorm, he was thrown backwards in time to ancient Terra where he impregnated your mother. He did this as part of an ancient ritual he uncovered in an Eldar temple and memorised, should he ever be flung backwards in time.

Lies. The Necrons are hiding from Marbo, relying on Him preferring to fight in newer and deadlier death worlds instead of coming to kill them. Marbo goes along with the deal because He already killed them anyway, and it is amusing to see what new jungle hell they can come up with.
