But are they competitive?
Consolidating my armies and I think orks are going to be my main.

They have a couple weakpoints, mainly being a bit squishy or a little overpriced, but yeah they can place pretty well at tournies. The changes to nights and Yinnari may also give them a leg up.

Knights and ynnari were nerfed yes a bit but castellan wasnt' big worry for orks anyway and orks were hit by nerfbat with their top 2 builds vaporized so...

Some matchups can work, but when you face AM, eldar, tau or dark eldar to some extent you can just forget winning ever. Its like playing chess and you have only pawns and they have like 8 queens...
Even my marines fair better because I have never used the loota bomb crutch.

This. I went through 7th with my 4th edition orks, mainly playing elder, and I got a fairly 50/50 win/loss ratio. But, I enjoyed every game. Orks are good for that.
