I got a manticore recently and I would quite like to model in with only 2 of the missiles as if it has already shot 2 of them, however if I were to play a game with this would it be classified as modelling for advantage as the model is ,slightly, smaller or would it be fine as it is only for aesthetic looks.

I'm dyslexic and thus am bad at spelling and grammar please don't remind me in comments to my posts.

You could also magnetise them to remove them as you fire if you wanted. I don't think anyone would mind though.

What if you magnetized all 4 of them and remove them as game progresses?

This is exactly what I have done to my old FW Manticore.
It is very convenient for showing the remaining ammunition, and in tournaments I had no one complain that the removal of missiles lowers slightly the shape of the tank.

Dunno about current edition, but in the past it had a limited number of shots, and most players would either keep the missiles loose or magnetize them so they could remove them after it shoots. So I would say its fine.

Do things like these even enter peoples minds? Nobody cares.

I would also vote for magnetizing the missiles, as it is a very fluffy and obvious way to count remaining ammunition.

They do, have a tight match with a TFG and they'll start looking for reasons to falsify your army.
Thankfully most judges will tell them to wake up to themselves but one being closer to the judge can happen. When I first converted Chaos Warriors from AOS to Space Wolves I copped a complaint that lasted until a second judge grabbed a ruler and showed the Warriors to be 2mm taller than Space Wolves on a standard base and an actual disadvantage (thank you scenic bases).

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go.

That's fine. You can always, magentoze and if anyone argued put a missile back on for use of Los and profiles and take off again to make it as empty of ammo.

Easy compromise.

Most sensible players will compromise of find ways round a problem..

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.
