I am starting to get into 15mm Napoleonic era and had a question about Prussian infantry. I acquired a bunch of old Minifig packs from a friend that was looking to clear out the closets. I was wondering what the difference was between infantry and Fusiliers. I am not sure how to base them, are they different units? They look very similar to my untrained eye. The only main difference I noticed was that the some of the Fusiliers have feathers in their hats while the infantry do not.

Iv'e had a hard time finding resources online for the product line, they are quite old I think. Any info of resource material would be very appreciated. I am not sure what game system I would be going with yet but would lean towards a basing scheme that would be useful for multiple popular systems. I do not currently have a community to play with but would like the option.

I'm not an expert on Napoleonics, but I would guess that they are "Light" infantry, possably even equiped with rifles...so you should do some searching before basing. They likely can skirmish as well as form up. I'd suggest Osperey they seem to have a guide for everything!

Fusiliers were basically Light Infantry and 1813 onwards there would usually be three battalions brigades together, 1 Fusilier and 2 Musketeer (or Line) Battalions.

The Fusiliers usually had a plume and some level of training in Light Infantry tactics, they were armed with muskets, only Jagers had Rifles.
