I'd like to use some Harlequin Skyweavers in a list. However, the models really don't fit the flavour or aesthetic I'm going for.
I'm wondering if it would be possible to convert some daemonic-looking "bikes" out of daemon models like Screamers of Tzeentch or Seekers of Slaanesh.
Firstly, do you think something like this could even work or are these just too far removed from Skyweavers to be usable?
Second, if it could work, does anyone have any suggestions or advice about how best to go about it or whether there would be better models to use for this purpose?

I saw some pretty cool conversion for skyweavers.
Someones used topless torsos (I think DE) and used long flowing bubble gum pink hair (I think greenstuff). I will see if I can find it somewhere.
Are you planning on using these in an aeldari army or a demon army to look like aeldari?

I'd be very interested to see that if you can find it.

They're for an aeldari army.
It's based around the Drukhari Kabal of the Wraithkind, which apparently courted daemons.
Given their innate invulnerable saves and swift movement, I thought some (probably Ynnari) Harlequin allies could make for decent daemon stand-ins.

I thought I originally saw these guys on dakka but might be mistaken.

Hope this will help you get creative juices flowing

Thanks very much.
This does indeed give me an idea.
Rather than replacing the Jetbikes altogether, maybe I could still use Jetbikes but modify them to look like they've just ridden through the warp. Similarly, their riders could either have daemonic mutations or else could be fully daemon (perhaps I could use Daemonettes or such).
Cheers again for your help.

Have you hit eBay for the old style harlequin jet bike front end?
I always thought they were pretty demonic looking, but not cheap, and maybe not quite what you’re after

I appreciate the thought but they're not really what I'm looking for.
Also a bit out of my price range.

Also, those torsos look like Daughters of Khaine Warlock cavalry. Heads too.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

You could also do DE Hellions with a Screamer/Seeker "pulling" them like a mini-Chariot.
That would be Aeldari at least, would fit the size and both Hellions and Seekers come in boxes of 5.
Actually, 1 box of Hellions and 1 box of Seekers would get you 5 models and be CHEAPER than 2 boxes of actually Skyweavers with only 4 models

I really like this idea, actually.
(And totally not just because i have a bunch of spare Hellions that I never use. )
I'll look into getting some Screamers from ebay.
Thanks very much.

Please share some photos as you put them together. I've had similar ideas about Skyweavers made out of Hellions pulled by Windrider jetbikes, but just could never get around to doing them -

Sure, I'd be happy to share pictures of them.
I'll probably just do one first and post that, in case you (or anyone else) have any suggestions for improvements.

Just a quick update for anyone else still interested - I've finally managed to acquire some Screamers so I'm currently playing around with how to actually model them.
Not sure yet how best to attach the Hellion skyboards to them. I've got some Necron Whip Coils that might do the trick, though they're a bit more bent than would be ideal.
I'm also considering how to model the Haywire Cannon - whether to try and model a cannon onto the Screamer or whether to have a model holding a Haywire Blaster.
I'm leaning towards the latter as I think it would give the second model something to do (as there's no need or place for a pilot on the Screamer).
I'll upload pictures when I have something more substantial.

As for how to connect them, you may not need to. I'd just get oval bases and put the flight stand for the Screamer in front of the flight stand for the Hellion. They're Daemonic, so they could absolutely be tethered together by something ethereal. For the Haywire, I think either under slung below the Screamer could work, or held by the rider could look equally good. Your choice However, I too would lean towards attaching the gun to the screamer since the Rider should have the melee weapon -

The Screamer's tail might cause an issue with this but I'll give it a try and see how it goes.
It would certainly be useful to have a stronger connection point for the Hellion than a couple of whip coils.

Ah, I was thinking that there would be two riders - one with a Glaive riding the Skyboard and another (possibly with Haywire) riding the Screamer itself.

2 Riders would look good. I was thinking just a Hellion being pulled by a Screamer with an attach gun would be the easiest to do, but If you put in more effort, it will look even better.
These are options too:

But IMO, far more expensive than what you're doing now

To be honest, if I was only going to have one rider, I'd probably stick them on the Screamer and skip the Hellion altogether.
Those do look nice. But yeah, they're quite a bit out of my price range.
