Not counting similar named but different wargear - i.e. the Ironhail Heavy Stubber and the AM Heavy Stubber are not the same.
Not counting Unique characters or wargear - i.e. Marneus Calgar, or his Gauntlets of Ultramar - though possibly counting non-unique wargear on a unique character/unit

What pre-existing wargear - weapons, shields, etc, shows up on Primaris models?

TLHB's and TLLC's on the Repulsor
Stormshields on the Victrix Guard - which is sort of sitting on that Unique fence
Power Fists as part of the (Auto) Bolt Storm Guantlet - and/or the new Sgt Upgrade
Power Swords all over the place
Chainswords - the new Sgt Upgrade
Stormbolters on the Repulsor and Redemptor
Heavy Flamer on the Redemptor

Space Wolves have Power Axes.

Did I miss any? I don't have the BA/SW books. Deathwatch gear - may have to get it's own subsection(s).

there's the power Axe on the Space Wolf Leuitenant. and Plasma Pistols on captains and dakr angel Lts.

Normal bolt pistols as a basic sidearm on a lot of guys
Force sword on the librarian
Crozious on the chaplain
Combat knives
frag and krack grenades
normal power fists can be had on intercessor sarges, and a captain (as long as the captain also has a plasma pistol)

Woops, misded the “Not ubiquitous” part. Although when talking about gear, that’s a fine line.

Also forgot Ausepexes, but that’s just in KT, not sure if you are counting that.

The Combat Knives aren't the same are they? I mean the Phobos LT Combat Knife and the Reiver combat knife are slightly different, and nothing else has one now? Or do they? When they did, they weren't they just a basic CCW example?

I hadn't thought of the Auspex. I'd glossed over the bolt pistol, I thought they all had Heavy Bolt Pistols. Didn't look closely enough.

Good Call on the scouts. And the same stats as the Reivers. Not only would I love it if all Primaris had Heavy Bolt Pistols, I'm kind of annoyed they don't.

What got me thinking about this was that there's a general consensus that they're working pretty hard to keep the new Marines out of the old wargear, and vice versa. I was wondering how much that was true. I'd forgotten about the Victrix Guard stormshields until I reminded myself. So I wondered how much else I and we were overlooking. More than I remembered, less than I expected, at least so far.

To the best of my knowledge the Phobos Lieutenant doesn't have a melee weapon on his profile at all, he has Knife Fighter to get extra attacks some of the time instead. It's screwy because 1) the model is clearly brandishing a knife, 2) KF can give him more than one extra attack if you're lucky but on average he'd have been better off just getting the Combat Knife, and 3) the difference is so marginal I'm not sure why they bothered.

The grenades should carry the fragstorm profile as well.

Cawl upgraded everything for a marine, but forgot the pistol and grenades? Not bloody likely.

in fairness grenades DO have an upgrade in the form of the grenade launcher on primaris.
