Well, I don't have any HG minis right here, so that's a no until the weekend at least, but I have some battlemechs...

I didn't manage to did it last week, but hopefully this one ^^
What I did manage is to sort of finish the PCs' rides:
At least until they tell me how they want to mod them.

Yep, characters are all License Level 0, which means they currently only have access to GMS equipment and the one chasis, the GMS-01 Everest

Yup, that's the idea, to sort of picture their evolution with their minis ^^
So, I took some comparison pics of the PCs ride and the Size 1 NPC I painted with some HG stuff:

Cool! I didn't realize you were one of those jerks that make the rest of us look bad by quartering your rocket tip paint jobs. I should have given your 6mm work on display here but didn't.
I think my fav from the new batch is ghillie sniper mech.

I did it before it was cool, actually. DP9 started doing it after I showed that boy on the forums xD
As to the guillie sniper, I though it would be cool to have the "local" faction (hercynian rangers) to do that with their mechs.

So far it's working nicely. I find they dry much cleaner over flat surfaces than contrasts, so they have a different use case for me at least, for when I wanna paint fast something more tech-like. They also seem to do much more capillary action and go for the panel lines like crazy, so that's another plus.
The reactivation issue so far hasn't been a problem, but I'd advice to varnish the mini after finishing the speed paint parts. Automatically Appended Next Post:

Thanks! Yeah, I felt that too, that's why I added the extra touch,as they felt way too flat otherwise

No, it's just that these are from this month's patreon, so they aren't yet on Cults. I guess they will, eventually, but I'm not sure how long do they take to port them there.

Ah, ok. Didn't realize they had one but probably should have figured they did. When I was regularly following them, it seemed like the new stuff went up on their cults page where I followed them. They'd preview it WIP on facebook and it would pop up there a few days later.

Hm, I've been neglectic the thread, haven't I.. let's see...
Lately I've been printing:
- A shieldmaiden warband for a friend, to use in Frostgrave. As this was to be used in conjunction with Victrix's absolutely excellent vinigs sprues, we had to finagle about with the scale.
The first attempt was... not really successful
So I had to scale them at about 85% (I actually scaled the supported files, without any problem)
Quite a bit better ,and all the detail printed without issues
- I also printed a giant for a D&D GM friend:
- A bunch of Statuesque heads, which I then started to attach to multiple stuff:
They take to paint really well, too! (that's simply contrasts)
- Bunches of alien rebels from Anvil Digital Forge, PCs from Mutant Chronicles and Alien and CP2077 stuff from Paksikels:
Automatically Appended Next Post: - Did a comparison between one of the MC's resin printed characters and the same one from the Siege of the Citadel boardgame:
- Printed some Red Nebular's 10mm stompas
- And painted some assorted stuff!
The MC character (all Speed Paints, plus Agrax wash)
CP2077 NPC (speed paints and contrasts, took about 10 minutes)
Anvil Digital Forge Bird Alien (Speed Paints + Agrax wash)
Epic ork trukks (regular paint + rust effects test)
Lancer RPG NPC big bad for ous second session
Leviathan dread that I painted may 4th to celebrate "May the IVth be with you"

Levi-Dreads are best Dreads! I always find painting lots of metallics over prints a bit rough, but that one looks great! Lovely use of spot colours too, the green really pops.

The giant is this guy, without the rider and embiggened. I hollowed it out, cut the arms and added pegs for easy assembly:

Yeah, the comparison is... stark, even though the boardgame mini is decent.

Those predators look so smooth! Good to see the appropriate dome-turrets being used.
Your previous update is so dense its hard to start
It all looks great is probably a good place to start
The female head on the Reiver works particularly nicely. the torso armour on that set in particular lends itself to a more androgynous look anyway. If this lady ever comes up on sale, I will likely purchase for the funs:

Loving all the random aliens as well. Loads of lovely stuff. and the 10minute paint jobs are also extremely well done

That's a very nice model, Flinty, but I agree, $8 is a tad too high for just the one...
Ok, this week I'm printing 15mm marines
So far I've printed about 20 Mk IIIs and some Mk VIs with the SoH emblem added:
One of the joys of 3d printing is being able to do stuff like this very easily, if you so choose
