I just finished painting the new (and disgustingly priced) special Battle Sister model in the scheme my mum painted her original metal ones years back. I wanted to continue the legacy with the new ones

Yeah, that price tag for one not-a-special-character was a bit of a nut punch. Looks fantastic, though--mine is primed but haven't started painting her yet.

@Hankovitch, she’s not actually too hard to paint, she’s just a little fiddly in some places. My only advice would be to keep her off the base, it’d make it a lot easy in hindsight haha.

Very nice, I do like the colour scheme. That photo next to the classic sister is the best ad for the new range yet - I didn't realise how improved the scale and proportions were until just now!
I was going to buy the new figure but that price tag! Too rich for my blood.

Yeah I thought it was a good example of how the new models will differ to the originals. A lot more different to what I originally thought and makes them look super awesome.
And yeah I somewhat regret buying her haha but I enjoyed painting her.

it's the same as the 20euro DG champion. the model look cool but the points to price ratio is terrible.

Like what you did with the robe, very dynamic highlighting that seems to go beyond the sculpt's contours.
I actually did find her quite hard to paint tho. I mean that face - jeesus.
