Oh, hell yes. ‘Bout time!

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Them’s fightin’ words. One does not bash Zombieland.

I was just wondering how you get within 90 days of a major movie release without a trailer.

I think it looks OK. The first one was pretty legit.

I'm excited to see this. It's one of those "all the actors are having the time of their lives" movies that just puts a smile on my face no matter how good or bad it is.

Looking forward to this one, first one was an instant classic in our household.

And a rude awakening for me when I learned that that as a certified fatty, I'm gonna be one of the first to go :(

And to be fair to Mr. Morden, he has an issue with Isenberg's Luthor, not necessarily with Isenberg himself.

I mean, he's not wrong. I like Jesse Eisenberg just fine - he was terrific in The Social Network.

Him as Lex Luthor? That was possibly the worst casting in the history of comic book movies, next to Topher Grace as Eddie Brock/Venom.

I'm sure he'll do just fine in Zombieland 2; he did just fine in the first one.

I disagree. Arrogance? Check. Sociopathic menace? Check. The only difference was a random batch of flightiness at the party where WW, SM, and BM all show up to.

Yep - I really enjoyed the first Zombieland and he was great in that. Conversely I hated every moment he was on screen in BvS.

I don't normally have issues with actors but characters that they play in films...

You know, Loopy Lex is just awful in the theatrical BvS. But the extended one...I had a theory the other day: in the extended we see how deep his manipulations go. He’s behind everything and they flesh it all out for us. Maybe his “loopiness” is designed to trick Batman into underestimating him. Batman figured out Joker and dealt with him. Batman knows “crazy”. So Lex mimics Joker so Batman thinks “here’s another one”. And it’s not until very late, when the heroes all hate each other that it is realized that Lex’s craziness is all an act to fake out the world’s greatest detective. Adding that thought process makes the movie work for me. It makes LEX work for me. But the theatrical version is hot garbage, the extended is tolerable without that thought process, and pretty decent WITH that thought process. YMMV.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

I have not watched the extended version but does it explain how Loopy Lex was going to deal with Supeman if he won = "er yeah i cooked your mom but heh don;t kill me cos I am Loopy" was not going to cut it - he would have been torn into lilttle bits and thrown into the sun and good ridence. How is that any way sane?

Does it also explain who and why the ship become his toy and why it suggested making a super weapon....
