Hello everyone. Getting back into 40k since 4th thanks to knights. Below is my first crack at a list I’d like to run.
Should come to 14 CP. Dakka knights sit back and shoot while thousand sons move up the board.
I’m 21 pts short so can upgrade a stubbier or move some things around if you have suggestions. Also don't know if my spell choices are the best. Thanks for the assistance!

Hey man, welcome back to 40k. I'd had a break since 5th and got back in near the start of 8th. It's now possible to play a game in 2 hours!!

This list has certainly got a lot of the new chaos 'greatest hits' I'd just make a couple of small change changes.

There's not a of screening in this list so you need to have tough and mobile units throughout. I'd change your Terminators sorcerer and 2 warpsmiths for a second winged daemon prince and 2 masters of executions.

You can free up the points for this by dropping the double avenger gatling cannons and replacing them with double thermal and an ionstorm. You have plenty of anti infantry and agc isn't as good as it looks on paper, it's really an anti wlites weapon but you've got that covered. If you loose Magnus early you have no other reliable anti tank. And Magnus is hard to hide turn 1.

Thanks for the tips! I am not familiar with the master of xxecutions. What does it do? Would that be better than healing some wounds with the smiths?

The warpsmiths only work on things with the same legion keyword as themselves. So you can basically smite a vehicle with them and they have some fairly poor mele.
Master of executions is 70 points. He has 5 str 8 -3 d3 dmg attacks and some rules for getting to enermy characters with 6" heroic intervention and can have a free reroll per turn against characters. He's still a little hq tax but for 10 points you'll get a lot more out of him with advance and charge.

He's basically a marine with an executioners hood and axe so he's fairly easy to kitbash if you have a few bitz.
