Hey, I'm looking for casualties / corpses of the fantasy ilk, elves and orcs and goblins and dwarves and such.
I have the two dead knights from Reaper, and a few sets from Gripping Beast (humans, obviously) but am wondering what the dakka dakka hive mind might produce for me...
Someone recently posted on sci fi, but no hints there for fantasy stuff. I'd thought I'd seen something here on this recently, but my search-fu is weak, and I can't find it anymore... I'd thought someone had linked to a mold to let you cast your own. And of course I can't find anything on google or what not!

I am not part of a hive mind sorry, but Prince August make(d?) casualty moulds which are probably what you are thinking of? Heresy do a dead goblin as well, Alternative Armies does some... Elfs? Orcs? GW have done Blood Bowl and LotR as well.

Try bits stores on eBay and look for Mantic Kings of War. Mantic has dead elves and dwarves, although the eBay store I bought mine from only has dwarves in stock.

Warlord Games has a good number of human casualties if you need a specific historical period (using Renaissance Holy Roman Empire for GW Empire). To my annoyance, they do not have Persian casualties since I'd like to put them on the bases of my Macedonians.
As for Google-fu, try "casualty miniature" and variants thereof; that got me the Goblin linked above.
Edit 1: Found Persian casualties for my Macedonians to parade over.

these are pretty generic:

although postage to the US will probably be quite expensive.

Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!! |

Thanks for the suggestions... I'd seen the Prince Albert molds, but couldn't find any casualties there. I know I'd seen fantasy casualty molds somewhere, but they weren't PA. I like the Heresy Miniatures goblin casualty, and have to figure out what other minis I can buy from there to make the shipping worthwhile...
Keep 'em coming!

Just for this week, starting 24 August, a number of GW LotR figures are available through Made to Order. This includes 8 mixed casualties but the price is $50 US for the pack. Also the GW LotR figures are smaller than WHFB/ AoS figures.

Oh thanks, I'd seen that one, and was sad to see it was OOP. I may spring for it...

Some Mantic sprues generally have a casualty. I incorporated them into base fillers and used their dead elf, dwarf and skellie.
