Which chapter does Angry Marines the best?

Successor Chapter with Duelist and Whirlwind of Fury which any other chapter wouldn't be able to take since the rules explicitly forbid it. I don't think Angry Marines care about those kind of rules though.

I'd say chaos marines codex, they need something to be angry about.

If that were the requirement, I'd have to go with Grey Knights.

Doctrines will not be relevant for the choice of chapter, because they need to soup in commissar fuklaw!

Honestly, I'm starting to think that Ultramarines does pretty good angry marines.

The Slaplain is amazing. 7 attacks, Str 8, 4 damage, Mortals on a 6 to wound. If you play games you can get him to 8 or 9 attacks, and for another 2 CP fight a second time.

The Chapter Champ, or Company Champ with the Burning blade is a 55/50 point piece that makes people stay out of your lines.

Rievers with pistols and knives in the Assault Phase are pretty good for 16 points. And for 1 cp they can have that doctrine when they need it. Or for 10-20 points deep strike them.

Aggressors with the Fall back, shoot 50+ shots, then charge again with 13 attacks from 3 models is just dumb good.

And then if you want the complete army can do silly things with Heroic interventions, extra attacks, and those types of shenanigans.

p176 and following. it's the last sentence in either of those two choices, they're exclusive to each other.

Which is why it's obviously the right combo for Angry Marines. Because they don't give a about what the rule say!

@ Nekooni - Right, Saturmorn implied that a White Scars successor chapter could take them, though the rules forbid it. I was looking for the justification allowing them to be taken together for WS Successor chapters.
