Hey guys, I've been wondering about a rules interpretation. The Firestorm ability of Aggressors has been changed in the new Space Marine codex and for the non-codex chapters with the errata:
Space Marine Codex 2017 wrote:Models in this unit can fire twice if they remained stationary during their turn (including when firing Overwatch).

Space Marine Codex 2019 / Errata wrote:When this unit fires Overwatch or is chosen to shoot with, models in this unit can shoot twice if this unit did not move this turn.

The important part being that the old rule uses 'their turn', while the new rule uses 'this turn'. Page 176 of the base rule book mentions that the game consists of battle rounds, and in each round both players have a turn.

So am I right to read that, RAW, with the new rule Aggressors now always get to fire twice during Overwatch, even if they moved in their own turn? Because Overwatch is done during the enemy player turn, barring some weird special rule they cannot have moved during that turn. Or am I missing something?

That is correct, they always get to double fire Overwatch now.

Barring some shenanigans that cause them to move before charges in your opponent's turn, yes.

Are there any known things that might cause that? A psychic power maybe?

I suppose if the Aggressors were inside a transport, and the transport got destroyed, they would have disembarked in the enemy turn and thus count as moving?

Ah yes, transports would be a valid case. But good to know, that's a very nice boost for the unit.
