Recently dug up my old Warhammer minis and found a few old pewter ones that I wanted to paint up. This is the first I've done. There is a decal transfer on his crozius shoulder that I wish was visible. The crozius is also not the original. At some point in time when I still played Warhammer I snipped the original to use on something else, so I made this one out of some bits. Really new to NMM and wanted to try it all over. Tell me if you think I could have done something better or different.

He does look good! Those old Chaplain models really have stood the test of time well. Some of the most characterful marines minis GW ever did.

You've done it justice!

Yeah I really like some of the older sculps. Little bit more comic book or cartoon-like imo.

Great work. While I love old minis, this guy was a bit of a pain for me to paint recently..so you've done really nicely on him. The replacement Crozius looks fine. Lovely job,

The thing I hated the most was the shoulder on the crozius arm. It makes the backpack stick out a bunch and I put the blood angels tranfer decal on the shoulder but you can't see it at all because the backpack is in the way.

I won't post mine since it's one of the few minis I was embarrassed by when I finished it...(hence it disappeared on eBay quickly!). You did it proper justice.
