I presume it's Corax. Is Corax going to be the next loyalist to return?

Also, I really hope that Shrike model comes with a helmeted option; his emo fringe/bangs is/are hilarious!

It actually wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility though given that A) 40k Guilliman exists and B) Black Library published a short story involving him (and Lorgar) fighting in the Eye of Terror during the 41st Millenium which confirms that he is still alive/active.

Jet pack is definitely new, but it's clearly based on the Inceptor design. Looks like it just has two sets of the little mini-jets instead of just one.

Which kind of make sense for a melee jetpack unit. All primaris jump troops so far are hovering and shooting guns while they do.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks do not think that purple makes them harder to see. They do think that camouflage does however, without knowing why.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.

In video it's got to be Corax. Interview for Raven Guard Chapter master and there's missing primarch "have you seen this guy?" poster? Raven guard for sure...

Whether that results in model is another thing. Could be, could be just for fun.

Mortarion started appearing in the background before his actual release as well.

Corax would pretty much be a smash captain primarch.

I'm pleased to see the Corvus helmet but agree it would have been better on his head.

Yeah. someone asked the community team that exact question on Facebook and they were like, "helmets are very versatile," which I found strange. I wonder why they didn't just say, "Yeah, there's a helmet variant."

I very much hope that turns out to be correct. Not because I like the Corvis helmet (I very much don't) but because if there's the option for him to be wearing the thing then there's the option to not include it on his hip.

This is what makes me think there will not be a helmeted variant - because I don't think the hip one will be optional.

Who doesn't carry a spare helmet into battle?

You could always convert it like people have to with Ulrik the Slayer.

. It’s a hybrid. I see the jets from the Inceptor pack, where the normal heat vents are, and a second set of heat vents with extended exhaust pipes out the back and either more exhaust or perhaps fragstorm launchers out the front.

They gave up the twin LC’s for some sort of not quite LC and what looks like a heavy bolt pistol but not quite. I’m not sure it’s going to be bolt- maybe that’s the grenades as well/instead.

My WHFB armies were Bretonians and Tomb Kings.

Thing is, marines take a lot of trinkets into battle on their armour. I'd like to see the thing on his head (on an official model) so we can see its compatible with Mark X armour and not just a lucky charm.

I, for one, think it's a red herring. I think that the "Have you see this Primarch?" is a joke about how Corax was incredibly stealthy.

Of course, I may be wrong, but I think it's a joke right now.

I agree. It's a tease. While it is of course possible Corax is coming, this gag doesn't make me think it's any more likely to happen soon than I did yesterday.

I hadn't even considered Corax's stealth nature in this joke.GW are probably all reading this thread and having a giggle. Still part of me hopes this is true. Will there even be a new primarch this edition. With a new Shrike and new supplement he'd have to be in that or he won't be coming for at least another few months before the next Space marines revised codex.

To be fair, I always take the Dredd approach when it comes to wearing a Helmet in a gun fight. If you think the helmet will affect your abilities, I think a bullet would affect them more.

It's the Omnis pattern armour from the Suppressors, with an extra set of grav vanes at the top and the landing thingies on the feet replaced with talons:

Spoiler:

Inceptors wear a jump pack variant of the bulkier Gravis pattern armour.

They call it out as the first time we've seen a beaky variant for Mark X armour, so I'm thinking it is a safe assumption that it can go onto him.

Breton, dude, you might want to make an appointment at SpecSavers - if you look beneath the Feather of Gravity Defiance that's attached to his pistol, you can see the upper curve of the claws on his gun hand.

Corax is one of the three Loyalist Primarchs that are about 100 percent likely to be returning. El' Johnson, Khan and Corax have been foreshadowed as returning. How long this will take is anyone's guess. Personally I think we are about 9 months behind where we should have seen a second Loyalist Primarch. The only reason I can think of is they didn't start a second Primarch model until they had sales numbers on the first.
