Lolno. Games Workshop are uselessly incompetent. They also want to make sure you're forced to buy the latest and greatest toys. They will probably nerf the Impulsor once the sales go though.

No! They dont seem to be doing 8th rules design very consistently over different factions. That's why we have different rules for similar functions already. For example ork-imperial gets hot differences, eldar-marine-orks infiltration rules, different ways to reroll misses etc. Some ruled are consistant though, like feel no pain. I dont think assult vehicles rule will be used often enough to follow a common design

They're intentionally different abilities. You can charge from Grav Chute Insertion, you can't from an Impulsor.
