Even though I have seen models built that way.

That would be because there is no model for it, so there are no rules for it in the current edition.

Models converted that way would have been for previous editions, before GW adopted their current 'no model, no rules' setup.

Did you check the index?

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

This one:
https://www.amazon.com/Games-Workshop-Index-Imperium-Warhammer/dp/1785819062/ref=sr_1_4?hvadid=78134097004682&hvbmt=bb&hvdev=c&hvqmt=b&keywords=index+warhammer+40k&qid=1567833229&s=gateway&sr=8-4

It's now out of print & no longer sold on the GW site. So your best bet to finding it is on amazon/EBay/etc.

Why would you want this you ask....
Because it has the 8th ed rules in it for models GW no longer makes (or in some cases never did as some things were just wargear options for characters). You'll often have to find the models on EBay etc or convert your own versions of them. Good thing you've chosen a hobby that includes working with exacto knives & glue, right?

ohh yes I am getting used to cutting my fingers and glueing them together to fully painted minis and having to peel it off gently as to not completely destroy the paint job.

There is no wolf priest on thunderwolf. Only on bike. Healers arent worth it. Use more thunderwolfs instead.

Danger with index is that now with legends from GW they are becoming officially not recommended for tournaments. And tournament rules have habit of leaking into non-tournament games as well.

Wouldn't recommend buying those books from ebay at least until you know how your local meta is going to handle legend units. And speaking of legends why even buy index book when legends will provide same rules for free when it launchesh.

(oh and for added fun the legend units will remain frozen int ime forever while GW keeps buffing others and dropping point costs so the legend units will become more and more crappy as years go by)

Wolf priest on thunderr wolf did never exist, neither model nor rules. If you have seen one it was a conversion

From Warhammer Community:

You’ll see these rolled out in the new year.
