I just got myself a box of Imperial Knight Apocalypse box set and I really like the idea of painting them into kings or barons, and the Helverins into named characters in the lore. While I am pretty sure that I would paint the 2 helverins into Oathkeeper of House Hawkshroud and Hound Sinister of House Griffith. I am not sure who to paint for the Castellan in the set; all I could find are the 2 Questor Mechanicus ones and the freeblade which I am not really a fan of in terms of color schemes.

So, is there any other named characters in the lore that piloted the Castellan?

Also, I have Canis Rex and hoping to get a knight warden in the future and paint it into Ferrous Maximus of House Raven, in order to complete a 2000pts army. Hoping not to have the same house among the knights. (I just claim them to be in the same house in game, the houses variations are only for display purposes.

From a quick look at Lexicanum, there's at least 4 -

Pride of Kolossi — Piloted by Omnitros
Devastation Unbridled — Piloted by Archimaxes
Stormwalker — Piloted by Kalena Maxus
Sire of Doom - Dreadblade Knight

Unfortunately, only the last one is cited (and is Chaos) so I've no idea about their colour schemes.

Yeah these are also the 4 that I found. The dreadblade might not be appropriate since I am doing imperial ones. Not really a fan of the purple on Stormwaler. and I refrained myself from painting one of 2 questor mechanicus ones, since I already planned on having a warden from house Raven, which is already a lot of red, trying to get more color variation.
I mean, if there are really no other ones, I might just paint it Terryn like the box art, but I guess I will wait a bit for more replies.

Just had a skim thru the Codex and the only other one I can see is Honour Absolute, piloted by Lady Lorette of House Terryn (who is the box art IIRC).
I'm not sure where they'd be other examples.

Oh my god, so it is a named character after all, then I will do that.
