So, the other thread has me wondering - are you using the rules from Phoenix rising in your games as Eldar, Dark Eldar, Harlequins or as Ynarri?
I don’t think there are Harlequin rules (I don’t own the book), but left the option if for some reason there is something in the book that benefits them.

no but since you can add ynnari HQs to Harlequin lists, technically they get some rules.

Not the same. It's more a waste of paper than I thought now.

I'll be using the Exarch powers (Specifically Skilled Rider Shining Spear and Hawkeye Crimson Hunter) and custom CW trait (Masters of Concealment & Expert Crafters)
But that's about it. Kinda wish I didn't buy the book, but as it has the Ynnari rules too, I don't have to keep that White Dwarf anymore. And I enjoy reading fluff when I can, so I'm not too disappointed with my purchase (as I rather like having physical books)

Great for my Wraith Constructs using Wrath of the Dead and Savage Blades along with Vigilus detachment. Spirit Seer no longer needs to get too close to get reroll 1s in combat.

In short... No.
Nor do I use the Vigilus books. If it's not in the Codex I can't be bothered with it. I'm not going to buy more fething books because there's a small scrap of Narrative Play rules in it.

I'll be using Drazhar and Incubi with the updated rules. They aren't competitive, but are decent now, and they can babysit my Djin Blade Archon.

I'll be using Exarch powers because they make things slightly better and less problematic for me. The traits I'll use because Aspect Armies don't get buffs from the standard traits that don't feel wasted to me.
But the DE, Ynnari and 'new' Eldar rules are a giant waste of paper and GW should feel bad for how much they hyped it up.

If I ever dig my Eldar out of storage I might consider it.
But by that time they'll probably just have a new codex that includes whatever PA provides....

To answer the poll, I'll be using basically everything in the book at least a bit. The offensive covens trait works much better with my army than PoF, and I like the one good combo wyches got.

"no" because they play eldar but have no intreast in the rules, or because "yeah my army is imperial guard so I don't use the rules"?

It would have been better framed as (trigger warning: Nu- GW naming Convention)
Personally, I'll probably use quite a lot of it compared to the average. But I'm not surprised to see the demographics here. The Drukhari rules are far less compelling than the craftworld rules by nature of being so subdivided. I've already broken down in another thread how, if you eliminate the 3 traits that are essentially completely non-competitive and factor in that one of the traits cannot be paired, there are really only 5 meaningful pairings (plus the one standalone trait) that might be considered when thinking about a custom wych cult. And all but 1 of those combinable traits is a direct, melee-only damage buff. The only defensive trait is the one you can't combine, and the 3 "Utility" traits are the ones that are incredibly bad.
Even if you eliminate the traits that are like, inarguably bad or wholly situtational from the craftworld list (Morai-Heg, Vengeful, Hunters of Relics, Grim, and Webway Warriors) you have 121 possible combinations of two traits for a custom craftworld that might or might not be compelling to you (Extra 1 because one of the traits is exclusive of the others)

I play CWE but was so underwhelmed I haven't bothered to pick up PR yet. There are a few neat tricks and combos but overall it just seems disappointing. The poor fluff didn't help either.
I will probably pick it up over Christmas as my Eldar list has been a bit samey lately and I want to try out the DIY craftworld traits to see if they make some of my under-used units a bit more viable.

Using? OFC i am, do i feel the book isnt anything they advertise at all? OFC i dont.
The book helped some units but NOT the units that really needed it the most, incubi are still bad, Ynnari si still bad, and the units that really needed got nothing (Hellions, Harlequins, Beasts), there could have been so much more but it isnt.
At least there is useful stuff in it, Drazhar is better, Aspects got a minor buff, and some of the traits are nice.

I didn't not purchase the WD issue, and this book had the Ynnari rules. The CW stuff is interesting. It will take a few more games to get a better feel, but so far, there has been some interesting play options.

I had compiled the rules from the internet. But with paraphrasing and inacurate names being used, I decided to buy the book so I can refernce with battle scribe easier.. I'm hoping for nice pictures and art to go with my new rules. And yeah ofc I will use the rules. There's only so many lists I can build with standard traits without feeling like I'm completely gimping my army.

It's a shame we didn't get some strats to boost the underperforming units to help with internal balance, that's probably my biggest complaint.
