It has good work of mouth..... but I have never played it.

The only Modern/Ultramodern I have personal experienc ewith if Force-On-Force which I enjoy a lot, but it is not to everyone's liking. It is a heavily scenario based game.

Others also like Skirmish Siajin (sp) from Radio: Dish-Dash as well, but I have not played that either.

Damn good game. It emphasises stealth, planning and positioning, especially for small groups of elite troops and operators fighting against larger, poorly trained forces. Strike hard, strike once.

The game is lethal - a hit from a firearm is going to put you down. You can continue to act with penalty if a light wound gets patched up; a heavy wound is a choice between bleeding out or stabilisation and extraction.

Lots of ultra-modern toys to play with, but it will be your troops and your plan that win the battle for you.

It's a game for scenario play far more than matched. VIP extraction, assassination, Mcguffin capture and targeted assaults will give you a great game. Think of a really good ARMA channel on Youtube - this is the tabletop version of it!

First edition rulebook was a bit unfriendly and had some mistakes, but 2nd edition is great.

Haven’t been able to play as have no opponents for this one but the models are fantastic, highly detailed with realistic proportions.

That does lead to some weak points on certain models as in the fact that the barrels on some of the weapons are very thin and easy to break off.

Spectre have a great range of miniatures only let down by the fact of most of the time all lot of stuff isn’t in stock.

Hmm something tells me after playing cod modern warfare you now want some table top action lol

It's just a shame most of it appears to be sold out.
