For what I've heard, the CA team made changes prior to knowing anything about the Marine update and supplements. However, I might not be the case vice-versa, meaning that the team developing the Marine changes knew about the CA changes and thus only implemented changes NOT upcoming in CA.
That's a lot to assume, admittedly, but if true it would mean changes to only thing not updated already. Fingers crossed

We generally have one CA book in our gaming club. That's enough.
BattleScribe definitely isn't perfect, but given that I'm currently not giving GW one fething red cent, it'll do.

We have really failed as a forums when a reddit post by an unheard of french player becomes somehow gospel of what changes will be in the next CA.
I just want there to be some form of love to Custodes. Price reductions, weapons re-balance, etc. Everyone else can get loved by a lictor in a dark corner.

I'd point out that a good majority of folks are calling bs on an unsourced 4chan trolling rumor list.

Probably quitting for good if real, these are hilarious
I mean i can get behind 11 pts chaos marines.
I can also get behind 2pts lower cultmarines.
but general points reductions for marines? now'?
Also source?
Lots of units need reductions.

Repulsor
Storm Raven
Terminators
drop pods
single las cannons
preditors
just to name a few. SM being OP is really overblown honestly - It is really just Ironhands and IF that are too strong. It's obvious why too. Super doctrines are absurd on them.
And yet.... Point drops are the way to go ? LOL.

IH and IF make it really hard to determine what needs a points adjustment and in what direction. I'm not going to waste anyone's time going through the math again, the jist of it is that the IH / IF buffs are like Gulliman pre-2.0-codex except worse because at least Gulliman cost points to bring to the table where the super doctrines are free.
