So the goal of this list is to have as few models as possible but still be a Battalion, all models have multiple wounds, no vehicles and represent a Marine Strike Force that plays like the fluff.
Also be fairly melee centered.

Tactics: The WM and Librarian go in the Pod. The T5 Fortis team deploys out of LoS. The 2 Praetors follow the DW teams
Turn 1, the Pod drops, the Characters get out, the WM uses the Beacon to call the T5 team right in front
The Dawn Eagle Captain follows behind. The 2 other teams advance forward and shoot with a 5++ against shooting from the Praetor escorts

I know this list is far from tourney competitive, but do you think it stands a change against other 1500pt casual lists? Lots of quality shots thanx to SIA, plenty of decent melee with reliable delivery methods. Everything but the 2 DW Characters and Pod is Obsec
As long as I have 1CP, I can ensure that I will never give up WL and the 3 Shield Captains can always "Should the Mantle" if my WM dies

So with the confirmed CA'19 points changes, I've updated the list. Now I can get a Dread in the list (because "Movie Marines" should have a Dread and it's a decent distraction Carnifex) and give my DW units a 5++ via Vexilla escorts

Do not trust the current CA2019 point values. They're riddled with quite obvious inaccuracies and glaring omissions.

We'll know soon enough, but none of the changes that affected my units above looked "inaccurate". I'm aware of the unit cost being places in the number of models column for DW Vets. That's an obvious error that most can agree on.

Its far more than the Veteran entry. Wargear costs are a bizzare mix of preCA2018, CA2018 and (presumed) CA2019 values, and there is at least one unit missing completely (Repulsor Executioner, which amusingly makes it likely illegal in matched play RAW).

In the context of this list, as much as I want the loss of the SIA tax to be real, as well as harmonization of Librarian costs with Codex Marines, the current document is flat out not a reliable source.

True, but given that lowering those points jives with Codex marines, and the SIA tax SHOULD be removed since other Marines got Combat Doctrines and DW do not, AND the latest CA trumps all others, I think it's safe enough to base decisions on.
Worst case scenario is that an Errata lists out ALL point changes to correct CA'19. Which I doubt will happen. We are more likely to just get those errors/omissions fixed, but all other points stay the same.

If all of them change back, I can simply swap the Plasmas on 2 of my Inceptor for Assault bolters and get back 36pts to keep most of my list as-is

GW doesnt do balance on what you or anyone else thinks *should* happen. You know better than that.
