Here is a Kill Team mission that has become a favorite in my group. It can be used for 100, 125, Commanders and even team games.

Setup:
Each player places two objectives (we use the numbered octagonal chits that come with Kill Team starters) about 32mm in size. These objectives much be placed along the long board edge of that players deployment zone but no closer than 3" to either short board edge. The objectives may be stacked upon each other if the player wishes to only defend one position.

Win Conditions:
The player who can successfully capture an enemy objective (the objectives their opponent placed) at the end of a round wins while preventing the capture of their own objectives. To capture an objective, the player must have a friendly unit within 2" of the objective with no enemy units within 2" the same objective. If both players manage to capture one of their opponent's objectives at the end of the round the game is a tie. If one player manages to capture both of their opponent's objectives and the opponent only captures one objective the player that capture two objectives is the winner.

Deployment:
Each player may deploy anywhere within 3" of their long board edge. Note: the Elites reserves rule are not allowed for this mission. The Scouting Phase is optional.

Rounds:
The game ends after 6 rounds.

We did something like this, but with the objective being something that had to be physically moved- usually used a chest or a crate or something.

To make things interesting, if you make a successful shooting attack against the person with the device- you had to roll a D6 and we had a chart for its results. It could be destroyed, and it actually exploded 6" and inflicted mortal wounds. Obviously you got more VP for protecting yours and stealing the one from the enemy.

Only 'safe' way to take it was to get into melee combat with the enemy. Which became that much funnier when everyone was mobbed around the guy with the object and the object explodes.

Mob Rule is not a rule.

I have been wanting to try more weird mission types. I think I will see if anyone want to try that one out.
