Yeah I thought the mine would be a core set too. But luckily I don't need corridors. I like all the dragons except the lightning one with its flying pose the same as GW's elf dragon.

I know I need 4x SG for the dragon statue to make the dragon bridge of my home town

You bought solidified RPG sets? What do you get in them please.

Yes. It was not what I expected. They are just the normal sets, including the ruined walls, with one additional tall wall and two low walls per set. So fewer solid walls than the description lead me to believe, but on the other hand, a ton more ruins than expected. Practically, there seems to be no reason to not go for RPG pledge.

Well I got three single sets and asked for them to be RPG. I will see if that works.

If I get extra sprues while maintaining the advantage of single sets so much the better.

The second order has been accepted and paid for, but I don't know when it will arrive. For Dungeons and Lasers 1 I made two late pledges in August and they were in effect mail orders, paid and shipped almost immediately, but this was in the lull before Rampart campaign completion and with warehouse staff on standby with little to do.

Anyone got recommendations on a source for flooring for the kits. I will be going with plasticard. But would like some advice on thickness from those in the know, plus if there is a relevant plasticard 101 I need to be aware of. I like the square grid plasticard I am seeing crop up.

I like plasticard with cork underneath to get the durability and patterns of plasticard, with a concrete like texture and realistic thickness. Add I beams and stick some clipped paper clips into the cork for additional realism for ruins

Did anybody else end up with too many short columns and not enough long columns? I have 20 leftover short columns and missing 6 long columns.

The long columns indentations on the pieces can accept two short columns. This also allows some variety of the damage to the double height pieces.
That being said, your box may have been mispacked. The KS page has a component count so you can tally off what you got.

I wonder if Archon would make the Wolverine alt-weapon loadouts from the resin kit available as STLs? Hopefully they would fit without requiring too much modification

What alt weapon loadouts?

This is something I asked for in the campaign, but Archon said there was no space left on the sprue. Fair enough.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/geeksaw/empire-of-men-28mm-sci-fi-miniatures-collection

it appeared initially as a resin vehicle in the empire of men KS, and there were a bunch of different load outs on for the hull as well as the gun

Automatically Appended Next Post:
if anybody has the any of the resins and one of the new plastics it would be great if they could check whether they two are compatible

Archon might be persuaded to make some more resin bits for sale now even though doing them in plastic is probably not viable outside another KS

Weird that nothing from the empire of men kickstarter is available to purchase, either as late pledge or just normally from their webstore

Agreed, there were a few bits I wouldn't mind getting but I have never seen them, not even on ebay. However, it looks like that 'faction' has been rolled into Starcide, so who knows. Maybe they will shoot for a hard plastic version of the other Empire of Men models when Starcide is more of a thing.

I thought i'd drop what I plan to do with my Kazumi stuff on here too,

While the temptation to build a huge ziggurat was strong it's hard to 'ruin' one, especially with the bits you get, and it's kind of limited to sitting in the middle of the board annoying everybody so I had to decide on what sort of buildings I wanted

I went for this, with a male & female or light & dark side (the small statues from the scatter terrain are the right size to pair with the toppers and I could do with some more, and the roofs are 5mm foamed pvc sheet as suggested by DaveC (nice one). I could carve in 'stones' but think they'll work well without it too

and here is the first ruined version, I'll glue some of it but leave the levels separate so I can have them as 2 single story buildings if I want to (the broken floor need work so they're not just straight lines)

and I remember seeing some posting about the 'roots' being useless (elsewhere not here), I think they're pretty cool, you'll need trim them to fit depending on where you put them but I think they work well.

Unsure about gluing in the decorative plugs on the outside, they'll make it look much better but make it a lot harder to store in a sticky out to get broken or rub the paint off sort of way

Looks good Orlando I might steal that design as I still have a lot of intact panels left. Yeah the Ziggurat is a tricky one and is a dominating piece, I need to build a smaller back corner to better define the shape of mine. Carving the paved effect is lot of work but I think it's worth it.

You can fill the holes with the regular plugs cut in half to make them go further if you have enough spare or use the decorative plugs glue them in then clip off the icon and file it flat.

Projects for another day currently building a Warcry Catacombs board from the D&L stuff which works surprisingly well with only a few mods needed but I need to see final layouts and how doors are dealt with before I finish it.

Has anyone received their rampart terrain that did the late pledge on gamefound.com? In the United States?

Seems like they are very limited in getting international shipments out due to weight restrictions (I think they cited 100kg/day which is not much for lots of plastic and packaging). I am still stuck waiting on shipment too but it is what it is.

Got my shipping notice today so some proof that they are working through the U.S. orders.

Is this stuff available anywhere? I just looked and all I could find was some sort of "late pledge" on a not-Kickstarter site. Will it be available through retail or anything?

Edit: also super vague on exactly what you're getting in each "late pledge", unless I'm overlooking some information somewhere.

Last I looked, even on Archon's website it directed you to late pledge on Gamefound as their ordering system. I don't think they're doing retail-style orders. Don't know why, possibly having something to do with them being based in Poland, and this way works easier/better for them.

Basically, if you want something, you pick what you want in Gamefound as a "pledge".

Ah that's awkward and a bit weird. Would much prefer an actual online store of some sort, honestly. Looks like interesting terrain otherwise.

It works well though, check the kickstarter page for what you get in the pledge and order through gamefound. I got one late pledge after a few weeks, and have ordered another. Quite long delivery time, but nothing compared to kickstarting something from scratch

Archon is still shipping out Rampart 2 and Chronicle X (which they're late on because the previous run of paper components from China was unacceptable or something) to backers. They finished up shipping D&L3 Legacy.

Speculation! I know Archon's boardgames have appeared in traditional retail channels, but dunno about their terrain and miniatures. They may also be one of the few creators who actually gets backers KS rewards before stores!

9 Days Ago : "@corwin. No, there's no further rapid delivery being done as Archon are concentrating on getting Rampart 2 and Chronicle x out the door."

@Mr. Grey, if you have an FLGS, you might want to check with them to see if they can this terrain. They might have more options available to them we don't know about.
