I don`t want to buy the chapter approved but could someone tell me if ancients in terminator armour is still available for matched play?

You don't need to buy Chapter Approved, you need to check if it has moved to Legends. You can find it here: https://www.warhammer-community.com/legends/#warhammer-40000

for which chapter are you asking, they make a model for BA & DA so they are certainly still around, I don't remember vanilla marines ever having access to one in 8th edition.

They're in the current Codex - presumably because there's one in the Space Marine Heroes range: (Although he's painted as a BA, there's no iconography on him)

Dude, these are transfers, bottom one is standard campaign badge available to all chapters on generic SM transfer sheet...

His point was there is no iconography on the model, and it’s legal to use. Your detour into paint schemes is irrelevant and wasn’t the point of his post.

He's saying that you can use it for any Marine Chapter as there is no modeled iconography  So although it is painted as a BA you can use it for any chapter
