Working on a custom Chapter Supplement. Very much WIP, so suggestions appreciated!

How does Storm's Fury interact with Eye of the Storm? My Grenades count as Assault weapons but count as Pistols but count as Assault?

Relics are pretty OP

You may count them as either. But not both at the same time.

Which relics, and how would you suggest nerfing them?

Edit: Changed Lightning Bolts to be two hits on a 6, instead of three. Not sure what else popped out to you as OP.

In addition, models with this ability may treat Pistol, Grenade and Rapid Fire weapons as Assault weapons in the shooting phase of a turn after they advance. Note that they may still only fire one Grenade per unit, despite it being treated as an Assault weapon.
As I can see this causing confusion, I suggest rewording it to:
"In addition, models with this ability may shoot Pistol and Grenade weapons in the Shooting phase even if they Advanced in that battle round, and may shoot Rapid Fire weapons as if they were Assault weapons etc etc."

Same for firing other weapons as Pistols - note that this would mean you'd get to shoot your Rapid Fire gun and your bolt pistol.

Yeah, i realized that it would let you fire pistol and assault weapons together.

Thank you for the suggested wording clean-up. That helps. At work now, but will fix later

I believe that the wording for the Space Wolf Stratagem True Grit would cover this pretty well.

Eye of the Storm seems very strong. Especially on a bunch of flamers.

Does Between The Raindrops allow you to declare charges against enemies within 18"?

I do not own the SW Dex. Mind letting me know how it's worded?

True Grit: Use this Stratagem in your Shooting phase. Choose a SPACE WOLVES INFANTRY unit from your army that is within 1" of an enemy unit. In this phase, models in that unit can fire their auto bolt rifles, boltguns, bolt rifles and bolt carbines as if they had the Pistol 2 Type. Models that do so cannot fire any other Pistols in this phase.

Relentless Advance: If a unit with this code Advances, it treats all ranged weapons it is equipped with as Assault weapons until the end of the turn (e.g. a Rapid Fire 1 weapon is treated as an Assault 1 weapon, and a Heavy D6 weapon is treated as an Assault D6 weapon etc.). In addition, unless it has Advanced this turn, a unit with this code does not suffer the penalty to hit rolls for moving and firing a Heavy weapon.

I'm a bit sceptical of the need for more SM rules. Doing the army as a White Scars successor seems ideal to me. From my brief overview it seems like a White Scars successor, a fast melee-centric chapter with a storm theme. I also think there might be a reason why you cannot get advance and charge and +1 to advance and +1 to charge. It's a bit too much pineapple soaked in own juice.

I think you should make a specialist detachment with a few unique Stratagems instead so you can play a White Scars successor chapter more how you would like to play them instead of creating a bunch of unique rules when you'll most likely find most of what you are looking for with White Scars. Ultramarines could also work, but you cannot cash in on the storm powers in that case.

Thank you for providing the wording!

And, as for making a custom supplement... I don't own the White Scars book, and I'm hesitant to give GW more money for rules. I don't disagree with what you've said, though.

Fair enough, I've got all the rules for everything and sometimes forget that not everyone has access to them. Have fun with creating and testing!
