Hello fellow Dakka members, hope all are well,

Just wanted to ask, Will be attending the London GT in June, and plan to take my Imperial Knights force (Consists of 4 Armiger class knights and 3 Crusader Models).

Now I have sadly from when I built them ages ago, glued the torsos and also not magnetised the parts on the knights, so they are as they come whole and fully built.

Will be taking either the coach or train public services and looking for advice or suggestions on the best forms to transport these safely and secure.

If anyone has any recommended items and can provide a link that would be appreciated also.

Cheers all.

I wrap them in bubble wrap tightly in a plastic tub (enough bubble wrap that they can't move). This has worked great, haven't ever damaged one.

The armigers can actually go into a smaller cylindrical-type tub all on their own.

My standard solution to about every transport issue provided it has base(baseless like rhino I'm still working on when I get first such model). Solid box(plastic one is fine). Insert metal sheet to bottom. Magnets to bottom of base. With knights bit bigger ones and couple would be fine. I did this for gallant and it worked fine. Wouldn't go violently shaking up and down(medium one at least mine held) or drop 1.5m free fall but the thing doesn't budge while walking, can be carried upside down etc.

If weapons are magnetized you an even have spare weapons lie next to it.
