Played about 10 years ago and getting back into the game. While looking over my grey knights with a updated codex I cant find anything about taking both arms with the same weapon. For example I've always wanted to run my Dreadnought with both arms twin linked lascannons.

Is this allowed? Is there somewhere in the codex that explains this?

The Datasheet in the Codex has the options listed there.

A GK Dread comes with an assault cannon, a storm bolter and a Dreadnought combat weapon as its standard gear.

The options on page 80 of the GK codex will tell you what you can take, check Page 80.

Mortis Dreadnoughts (those with both arms the same) are in Imperial Armour – Index: Forces of the Adeptus Astartes, but that book is being replaced soon and I'm not sure if Grey Knights can take them.

Grey Knights cannot take FW dreads, excepting the Doomglaive.

Thanks for all the help! That would explain why forge world doesnt make left handed lascannons for the basic dreadnought anymore.
