So the rumour mill has a tenet that increases the range for assault weapons by 4". How will that work with the Breacher Carbine which has 3 range categories? Do each of them increase by four or only the long range one.
I think it will be all three increase, but what do others think.

It will be all 3 because all 3 have the Assault type. Same with marine combi bolters and the 3" trait. The bolter isn't boosted but the flamer is
