8 configurations: swapping a few gears so they make more sense
Sgt with chainsword and las pistol
Sgt with bolt pistol
Plasma gunner with backpack
Vox caster with lasgun(mask)
Vox caster with lasgun
Guardsmen with lasgun
Guardsmen with Mechanicus axe
Guardsmen with pole arm

No idea why on some of those configurations, but combinations are endless with existing LEGOs.
You’re welcome to pledge here, it will help me to get an estimate on the market demand.

I would totally buy LEGO Cadians. Like, right now, where do I get them levels of would buy. OTOH, I'm a little suspicious about not-lego-LEGOs, since I've had some less-than-awesome not-lego-legos.

Especially if there was a LEGO Basilisk or Leman Russ to go with them.

LEGOs are like literally the best toy I think I ever had. Unfortunately, I don't think LEGO would make actual LEGO 40k models. Grim Darkness of the Far Future isn't really Lego's theme.

Guardsmen, hear me! Cadia may lie in ruin, but her proud people do not! For each brother and sister who gave their lives to Him as martyrs, we will reap a vengeance fiftyfold! Cadia may be no more, but will never be forgotten; our foes shall tremble in fear at the name, for their doom shall come from the barrels of Cadian guns, fired by Cadian hands! Forward, for vengeance and retribution, in His name and the names of our fallen comrades!

I think those are great, and I'd love the entire 40K line in LEGO. I've actually bought the Halo Megablok figures and been using Kill Team rules for some Halo war action.

It never ends well

100% true for me as well. My family still has buckets of them in storage. As soon as my eldest hits Lego age, it's on like Donkey Kong.

My shelves at home in my office and my bedroom are covered with things made out of LEGOs. Many of them still built at least close enough to the instructions to be recognizable.

My brother and I used to have war across the house. We'd build factories behind the lines, and run rail lines with BRIO trains to the front, and have long breastworks made out of blocks across the entry way. Dino Attack tanks would advance under the cover of Mars Mission fighters and bombers, while green army and knights with spears went over the top at the whistle blow and heavy artillery blew everything apart. We didn't have to clean up, so this went on for days.

I got 50 for myself, you know being an IG hoarder and all. Once I get them in, I can test them out and post actual photos of the items, not the stock advertising one shown here.

When I was growing up it was joes and cobra for me; cause the LEGO range really haven’t take off like it’s right now, it only had feudal knights/colonial red coats and pirates/space explorers/sims; I would have love me a ATST Walker.

Well I'd need all the other stuff that makes up an IG army to go with them. Otherwise it'd look really mismatched on the table.

If you do a search on ‘LEGO 40k’, you’ll see a bunch of images, there is a image of Valkyrie/Baneblade/Chimera/LRBT group shot; you can track down the origin source and get a instruction and pieces, maybe they will start selling as a kit once there is a demand.

I won't vote as the poll is strangely set up and all my money doesn't go to 40k.

That said I wouldn't buy lego cadians but I have seen leg orks before as a side note.

Surprised the Near-Lego makers don't make Lego Marines, seem must more marketable than Lego IG.

Here in Egypt the stores are filled with both Legos and China-Legos, some really nice kits too and completely shameless.

When we were in middle school here, there was a ton of WWII and WWI not lego, tank , planes and vehicle sets being sold. People were buying them a lot, if you did not have them you couldn't play with others.

I know there are ways you can get them cheaper, but my service is to kitbash them so that they make sense in the 40k universe.

Some parts I found are able to make Straken(red bandana and metal arm with shotgun); Mr. T aka Harker; Cadian HWT(all variety but the lascannon); Cadian special weapons(all but meltagun); commissar; company commander; Solar Macharius; Tallarn RR on horses; Catachan RR on raptors; Cadian RR on bikes.

I will be focusing on parts that goes with the Cadians, not on the vehicles unless there is a demand pre order for it. Great gifts for Christmas, in order to be ready you’re probably have to pledge at least 2 months ahead so I can gather the parts and kitbash.

That's cute. I'm sure someone will want it. I'm kinda limited in money though, I can only really afford one expensive hobby, and Legos are just as expensive as 40k if not more so.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

Last awesome update to the OP gallery link for the night: Scout Sentinel, Vostroyans!

there are now proper:
Cadians
Vostroyans

Fairly easy to convert:
Catachans(just need a source of cheap red bandanas, any ideas?)
Tallarns(bandits or Afghans)
Valhallans(Russian/Chinese winter troops)
Steel Legion(beige color WWII Germans with gas mask and helm)
Death Korps(dark color WWII Germans with gas mask and helm)
Tanith First(special forces in green with either hair/hat/hood, and camo cape, ideas?)
Mordians(blue dress uniform troops with cap or commissar hat)
Stormtroopers(special forces with red Beret cap)

No idea where to start:
Elysians
Praetorians(British redcoats with shoulder guards, source of Pith helm?)

Edit: removed the LR Executioner after seeing an actual LEGO figure next to it, it’s too small/out of scale; replaced the Vulture & Taurox after finding better replacements.
Added a bunch new suitable figures/vehicles: Shadowsword, Astropath, Fleet Officer, other regiments.

While I do understand these are copy-cat LEGO products...I do chuckle every time someone brings up LEGO and 40K, I find it's probably the only way to make 40K even more expensive

Updated the OP gallery link:
Replaced Straken, images of actual Cadians in their packaging, I have to say they look better than the image, the uniforms seem darker, the weapons and armor camo green are too, 3 hands total in each package in case they break, and a black base.

I will once I get home, right now in China I don’t have access to Imgur, nor do I have my professional camera and photo setup; added Bullgryn aka Hulk plus.

Did some assembly(wearing latex gloves) last night, noticed 2 misprints, one of the eagle on the helm was notably printed off center, a masked head was printed too low as if a female wearing male uniform; had my cousin contact their customer service and they will be replaced. Checked the unopened packages for misprints and there were none.

I end up swapping the helms of the miscasts so that there is only 1 figure with misprinted head and helm; which I later can replace again with a bare head and hair/head gear as a veteran. Pretty good quality overall.

How well do they interact with proper Legos?

I don’t own any LEGOs atm outside of this batch, I had put in a second order of groupings/vehicles/accessories/celebrities/other IG; I probably won’t have time to assemble them, but I will check them for misprints. They fit fine, each comes with a additional hand incase of misfit/broken through play etc. Their legs all have proper holes on the back side like regular LEGOs so that they can sit down.

I can imagine a great battle between Star Wars being invaded by 40k, in terms of wave after wave of IG regiments.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Just now I had this vision of a commercial introducing LEGO 40k:
it starts with 2 kids playing LEGO Star Wars(Jedi vs Sith);
then a 3rd kid says “can I play?” The first 2 kid says “What do you got?”

“For the Emperor!” Says the 3rd kid. This confuses the kid playing Jedi. LEGO action animation goes to loads of Cadians marching forward shooting Star Wars indiscriminately, some unload from APCs, raptor riding RR jumps out from the depth of the jungle, Straken(Cable) leading the charge.

Darth cut down squads of Cadians with ease, some starts to panic, one starts to run away, his head gets blown off by Commissar(Hitler with bolt pistol), “get back into the fight, you dogs, or you’ll shall share his fate!”

Star Wars starts to bring out their big toys(ATAT), Shadowsword took a shot but missed, ATAT retaliates and destroys the Shadowsword. Things starts to go awry for 40k.

Then theme song(eye of the tiger) breaks in, Marbo(Rambo) shows up and click his demolition charge, the ATAT falls over and things starts to go 40k side.

To be continued..
