Hello fellow dakkanauts! Today on a trip to my family home, I unpacked and inspected my undead army from the days of warhammer fantasy battles! It was quite a sight and I decided to share some pictures of it here on dakka.

It contains a wide array of miniature brands; GW, mantic, black tree design, prince august, and even an eye beast from reaper bones.
It also has some converted characters to look like evil ash and Sheila from the "army of darkness" movie.

The pictures are in this gallery

It's a damn shame it have sat unplayed for years. Would be
nice to find a fun game system to start using them in again!

Best regards

Man! Brought back some memories! I used the same exact lead guys for my grave guard! they were great, Packs of 5 or so for next to nothing (no clue who made, maybe RAFM?) I also converted that brettonian sorceress into a necromancer.
Love the giant eye.
Sadly, sold almost all of my fantasy armies years ago.
Anyway, nice work there and thanks for sharing.

Keeping the hobby side alive!

I never forget the Dakka unit scale is binary: Units are either OP or Garbage.

This is super awesome! I love the blood knight conversion! If you want to get back into fantasy, check out if you have a community of people play The Ninth Age near you. It's a community made update of Warhammer Fantasy. There seems to be a growing community of people who like the older Fantasy editions like 6th edition as well.

You can check out Ninth Age here: https://www.the-ninth-age.com/

And come see the Warhammer Legacy forum here! It's a growing community that will surely only get bigger now that GW has announced they are bringing back old fantasy in some form. https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/forums/show/93.page

I thought about the origin of my grave guard yesterday as I was mistaken about them coming from black tree design. Turns out they were originally sculpts from grenadiers miniatures who are gone now.

But the moulds were apearently sold on because the minis are still for sale from mirliton, wich is where I bought them!

Thanks! Ive tried 9th age once when it was new, but glad to hear it's still active. Digging this army out made me motivated to field it again, I'll certainly look around for a community.
