So I've been really looking forward to this book a lot and it did not disappoint in my oppinion. It expands on custodes lore and has an interesting plot that is not just bolter porn.

Also it clarifies something I've been wondering about for some time. In the book a custodes meets a primaris marine for the first time and remarks that the primaris is almost the same height as he is. I always thought custodes are still significantly bigger than primaris, but apparently it is not so, at least in the lore.

Anyway, it's an awsome book and if you get a chance you should read it, if you are into custodes and sisters of silence lore and liked the characters from the first one. Also gives Valoris some time to shine, which is awsome.

You just have to hope it actually gets finished instead of dropped halfway through....

Why wouldn't it? Chris wraiths books in general have been quite popular as far as I can tell.

Yet when you get to the end of Stormcaller it feels like book 2 of 3 but the story "ends".

so finished this book a few nights ago. and over all I enjoyed it. It's yet another case of "people complaining about Gulliman and Primaris Marines are proably doing so pre-maturely" it was fun to see the Minotaurs involved.

Really? Would it be alright to get those names? Obviously can be in a spoiler tab. Would like to know for my fluff for space marine chapter. Specifically I also wanted to know if they all were executed or just dismissed?

actually those removed where just dismissed

Spoiler:
some died later

Those Removed from Power
Irthu Maemotalion Master of the Administratium
Uila Lamma Paternoval Envoy
Khannia Dhanda speaker of the chartist captains
Baldo Slyst Ecclesiarch

It's worth noting Khannia Dhandia was NOT removed from her position as Speaker of the Chartist Captains but she was simply removed from the high lords to make room for the Lord Commander of the Imperial Guard.

that said, you'll wanna read the novel for more info.

Spoiler:
later on a conspicracy of highlords attempted a coup and all got themselves killed, this included Maemotalion and Slyst whom still had a fair bit of influence, as wellas the commanders of the navy and guard. they where killed by the assasins

so yeah you'll REAAAALLY wanna read the novel if you wanna know the state of the high lords

Ahh thank you very much for that. Damn I was hoping at least one got away, as my idea was to have a renegade esque chapter given the mandate to hunt down one of these corrupt Hight Lords that fled from Terra after Guilliman returned. But I will give it a read then as it seems to be exactly the kind of stuff I want to know.

nope. we know Valdore's dissappered, and from hints lain in the short story two metaphysical blades, It's likely him and Russ went off together on something the emperor had in mind for them.. (. that would be like the ULTIMATE "buddy cop movie")
