With the advent of the zombie apocalypse the ecomony has been absolutely hammered. In some places stores like FLGS have been shot down by the government. Obviously this is no bueno for businesses that typically do not do too well ecomonically.

We all know the only way to ensure that we survive the apocalypse is to have enough unpainted miniatures on hand, that way you cannot die. Thus consider stopping by before everyone is locked down.

The up side is that there will be lots of time to assemble and paint the minis.

I must admit that I fear that this worldwide panic attack will force many business owners under. Plus every country seems to be run by a group of idiots who are only interested in their own popularity ratings rather than the people they answer to.

My Local FLGS hasn't cancelled their AoS tournament for this weekend and none of the Magic events have been cancelled either.

They are taking precautions however but well see how long it will take before that changes.

I am so glad I am out of the Main Street Small Business world. This would be brutal and a business killer. I expect NO help from the government or the chamber of commerce.

I went down to the local Main Street businesses to spread some money around before the COVID-19 hits hard in my area. It was a ghost town.

Hopefully all businesses manage to stay open. I know that’s a pipe dream. But no gaming store is getting a cent from me until this is under control. Not because I don’t want to, but because we have no idea how long things could last. I’m stocked up on food. I’ve had my taxes in for two weeks. I’m having a baby literally any day now. I’ve got a mountain of grey (and primed plastic) and plenty of paints, both normal and contrast. I even got my quicksilver CC card right before this hit and already hit the $150 cash bonus from prep/final baby supplies. I’m READY for Fulgrim (and not actually spending a dime of real money on him) if he gets revealed as rumors say...but if this isn’t under control, that Fulgrim $$ becomes survival $$.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Due to work, I can usually only ship any sales or trades out on Saturday morning. Please trade/purchase with this in mind.

How the LGS fares right now is the least of my worries.
I am now off work indefinitely, and my wife’s company looks to be shutting its doors today.
It’s an official state of emergency here.

I’m more concerned about having enough food for my kids whilst everyone is panic buying all the groceries in sight.
I have to prepare for the worst, and having enough toys to paint is the least of anyone’s worries right now.

I'm in the exact same situation. My wife is due any day now. Managed to get enough food in to last a few months. Enough money to cover bills for a few months.
Would love to buy some new things to paint... but it is just not worth the risk... especially being this close to the UK and their frankly idiotic approach to the virus.

The objective of the game is to win. The point of the game is to have fun. The two should never be confused.
