It been awile since i posted something here (so much to do, so little time) but now since the corona lockdown i finally have time to share what have we do for the last year.
We have made a new model for Asgar faction and finished the pirate faction model. Now we are shipping kickstarter and thinking about our next move.
Please share your thoughts about our miniatures this is important to us!

A few words about the game:
The first and most important thing is that the game is about the player. I know everyone say it, but we really mean it!
The game is based around our commander creation and costomisation. Than you are creating your army first thing you do is choose your commander skills, they represents the way you want to play the game. Your commander can be a support character for your army or the main damage dealer in your roster, ofc any choice have a consequences This allow you to use any units in the game, so you will never see a unit that cannot be played on the table.
You can even combine the skills from a different skill branches to create some wonderfull and powerfull combos.
P.S. Please remember that the rules are still beta :(
I dont know when the Aracnids miniature will come, but we are planning to do a concept art for every faction so every one knew what to wait.
Automatically Appended Next Post: One more thing that is special about Verge of War. The fate of our universe is desided by players, literally.
We create a IFS (Intelegence Feedback System) that is show how is players activity is influensing the galaxy.
Our game year is devided on 4 seasons, three War Seasons and a mid season 3 month each.
In each War season we nominate a place in the galaxy, the sector on the galaxy map which is a war zone. At the end of the season one of the faction will conquer this sector expanding its territory and its influence. In the mid season we are crating a sci-fi novel about everything that happened during the year, and the most active players has the opportunity to create their own character for this novel.
To conquer the sector one of the warring factions players must send us a battle report and tournament report, with the results. Faction results is summarised and the faction who scores more points wins the war. But to conquer the sector the win must be strong, so if the difference is small its a draw and the faction will split the sector of their influence zones.
Each battle report has a point value. The tournaments is the most valuable and the more players participating the more point the tournament pull will generate. The winner doesnt get all the point but he gets the most part, he is a winner after all
Also exept the faction point each player will receive a personal points with will show his activity and based on this points he will receive opportunity to create their own character for the Verge of War universe.
Our motto is "The future is uncertain, you shape it!" and we want it to be exacly that way.
This is the photos of our starter sets, "First contact packs". All our starters are balanced and all have the same point cost of 330 points and only cost less than 50$.
The good game format that allows you to fully enjoy the game is 1000 pts. With the additional weapons provided in the First Contacts(but not recomended to use is you play only starters) you can get ti 1000 by adding 1-2 additional miniatures, the total cost for a 1000 pts army is around 100$.

* I would put an example of a unit profile earlier on as you are using stats quite quickly - eg MP is referenced in 1.1 but not what it is until later.
* 2.1 Under Run add "This action can not be performed if a unit begins its activation in Close Combat
* 3.1 1st paragraph: needs a space after first Line of Fire, 4th line should be from not form. 5th line should be you not u.
* 3.1 2nd paragraph: 2nd line should be piece not peace (although I would just remove that word)
* 3.3 Ranged Attack - is a Save just a roll on a D6 or a test vs something? Its not clear to me.

Just an FYI... the factions portion of your website returns back a 404 error message. I tried to refresh my memory about the various factions and couldn't access the pages.

This allow you to use any units in the game, so you will never see a unit that cannot be played on the table.
