And if you recall from the last post, I've been out of it for a while.
How are you getting 2 warlord traits? I've never really understood the specialist detachment rules.

What Psychic Powers and Prayers are you taking?

Lastly, what about adding some Rapier Batteries or even a Helforged Deredeo Dread for your fire base?

Or, even those MOS Maulerfiends to run with the blob?

From what other members and websites have said, specialist detachments are created at the start of the game by paying the CP cost and usually has a warlord trait associated with it. Also there is another strategem associated with specialist detachments that lets you pay another CP point to appoint a character from that detachment as a pseudo-warlord who can take the detachment trait.

Would love to see 45 possessed on the tabletop - being able to advance and charge and with all the Word Bearer buffs.

I'm pretty new to 40k but have you considered switching the Vanguard to a Battalion by doing 5 man squads of CSM in each and moving the greater possessed to the no -daemonkin detachment?

You lose very little I feel like and gain 4 CP

If he does that then he's got 4 detachments - and generally the limit is 3 for tournament-style games.

The number of detachments doesn't change, I was suggesting making the vanguard a battalion.

Hmm, I am not really fresh on the rules, but I do have interest in Word Bearers and Slaneesh in general. What role do that Havocs have? Just some anti-tank?

Yes. While the possessed have a decent AP, it’s not ideal for dealing with heavy armour. That said, I was considering what someone mentioned earlier about using a dreadnought like a contemptor instead

The Deredeos have a heavy amount of firepower each turn and create a nice distraction for people to need to handle in addition to your bomb.

These next things are more questions than anything else.
Why the 5 Man Havoc squad instead of 3+ 5 man CSM with 1 ML?
I'm guessing the T5 helps that much? I haven't played so I'm observing this strictly from a points perspective.

I like the sneaky exalted champ with the Exalted Possession, getting S10 and 6A on the charge, etc, etc.
I really wonder how much Master of the Union would work with this list?
Adding +1A to all your Possessed and GP would be huge, but also possibly too much.

IDK, there are so many cool tricks to do here, I'm hooked if you couldn't tell.

In regards to the 10-man squad, I did that out of habit. I’ve only ever really played guard which usually has minimum 10 man squads
