Nick Nanvati has been busy painting up his Tyranid force over the last two weeks with The Army Painter method and now hopes to test them against what he thinks is their toughest matchup (always a great idea in practice games to test against the perceived worst matchup).

Richard Siegler, on the other hand, will be using a new Farsight build that uses a 9-man crisis unit loaded to the brim with Airburst fragmentation projectors to provide a midfield bully unit that offers 17d6 ignore line of sight shots. With the stratagem to count a targeted unit as having 5 markerlights (no line of sight required) and command node, the unit of crisis can hit on 2s, rerolling ones, ignoring cover, ignoring the advance penalty, +1 to hit, and reroll failed wound rolls. Farsight lists usually lack ignore line of sight shots due to the lack of SMS, but the efficiency buffs from stratagems really turn the airburst into a fearsome tool in my opinion. Conceptually, I feel this build is incredibly potent into lists like Grey Knights which want to hide for most of the match, but this crisis unit can do crippling damage over a turn or two. Additionally, the power of 9 crisis bodyguard's with ATS in melee cannot be understated.
