A little introduction is the best way to start on a forum I think

I'm French, I know the universe of warhammer 40k since 2000, I started with the well known starter box of the Space marines against dark eldar (damn it was hard to play dark eldar !).

I never really painted anything back in the days or it was just to horrible in quality to even mention it ... I was like 8-9 years old ... but I have owned alot of armies, Catachan was my first one, then Chaos space marine (Khorne !), Tau, Black templars (you know the wonderful plastic kit ) then I stopped in 2009 didin't played any more and I had other interest, but still ... I've always read all the novel and comics about 40k.
In 2018 I've heard about the so called V8 and my interest for the models was back ! i'm not a gamer myself because I don't like this version of this game but painting is a whole different thing now, it's simple I don't want to play with an army that is not painted, nice contrast with my early years ...

I started first with the Death Guard in 2018 painted everything then sold it in 2019 for starting an army that i always dream of ... the Death Korps of Krieg ! Always loved the design of this army, I'm also a huge passionate of history since my young age so I paint them as the hypical blue horizon French 14/18.

I think many of us go through a similar process of playing when we're young, giving it up when we discover girls and booze and then returning to the hobby in our late 20s.
The final step is progressing on to historical gaming as we become old grognards!

I'm impressed when I see a Krieg army as the models and theme are great, can't say I've seen many in blue though so that's pretty cool.
