I've got three incomplete metal Dark Elf Cold Ones that I'd like to finish off, does anybody have any spares? I need three heads and one tail. If anyone has the head from the 'Dark Elf General Mounted on Armoured Cold One' that would be even better as mine is using a normal Cold One head.

I dont specifically have the general, but I think I have a full unit of metal ones and another character somewhere that I picked up way back in the day.

I'll have a look for them if you'd like? I will warn you though, some of them would qualify as a rescure project

Hello again, apologies for very slow turnover, they were buried deep.

I've got them out, and I'm on sorting them out now to figure what's what, but I will say openly theyre in a worse state than I remember them being. Younger me had no clue what to do to fix models properly, so I am finding copious amounts of GreenStuff

I'll get them cleaned up where possible and get photos uploaded as soon as I can

Ok, so I have some pictures now I have cleaned them up some.

Picture 1 is an overview of the entire group. You can see that there's a fair amount of work to do, but most of the pieces are there, bar shields.

Picture 2 is one of the Knights. He's stuck to the base using green stuff, the lance is seperate but included, and is missing his shield, but is otherwise entirely in one piece.

Picture 3 is also a "normal" Knight. This one is first contender for being in the best condition. No green stuff present, but again the lance is separate and the shield is missing.

Picture 4 is the banner bearer. Second contender for being in the best condition, the only issues here is stuck back on base and sticking the tail back on. You can see there was a minor issue of the banner sticking to his hand, with a small amount of paper stuck there, but again it shouldnt be too hard.

Picture 5 is the officer. Sword and shield, shield is actually present, but his lizard is completely missing it's tail (which I know is the reason you opened the thread to begin with, but eh)

Picture 6 is the unbuilt Knight, with a variant torso for a second bannerman.

Last but not least, Picture 7 is a guy who has a lot more detail on the model, I reckon he's some kind of Lord, but I have no idea honestly, these are so old. Needs work, as do them all, but hey ho.

I remember nothing about what these things cost me back then, so I'm open to offers if you do want them.

Just noticed that the banner man is also stuck to the lizard by green stuff.

I dont want to try split them in case I actually fully break them, just wanted to make sure you were aware

Thanks for digging them out! In good condition they're generally on auction for £3-5 each on eBay with individual bits priced higher on buy-it-now, I wasn't initially looking to buy any more but I'd give them a good home (and not resell) if you were to consider selling them cheaper than on eBay. Absolutely no worries if you'd rather sell them on!

They're useless to me honestly, I only remembered I had them when I saw your post.

More than happy to sell them to you, say £25 posted? I'll find a way to get them packed in safety as best I can.

It's a fair price, but I think I'll have to pass as I could buy them at that price from various sellers and I hadn't really planned to expand the unit, instead hoping to patch up some incomplete models I have lying around. I'd definitely recommend putting them on eBay though - the last one you photographed is a 'Dark Elf General on Armoured Cold One' btw!
