Mr Justin is clearing out stuff in the warehouse and he has a random assortment of Nine tilescape tiles for 45. Each box is from the same theme however there could be repeated tiles. No clips are included but he's going to release a STL for it as soon as he can find it.

He also has other tilescape bundles at 50% off.

That's nuts. The neoprene mat boom must not have been kind to the plastic tile industry.

Neoprene surly had an effect but I would 3D printed tiles did more as the fans of the plastic want the, well, 3D-ness over what neoprene offers. You can also get MDF boards pretty cheap and flock them yourself or add printed elements to them.

He's also done 1 gallon bags of crap for $40 off and on. Selling boxes of the same tiles for cheap and other things over the past few days. I'll watch and update if I see anything but sometimes they go in about 30 min.

Don't forget to pick up Stone wash, if you have dungeon tiles. Concrete is good for a grey to shade white.

I didn't find the Bag-o-Crap casting rejects, but they're great for a grab bag of bases and other resin pieces, mostly generic fantasy and sf.

The Bag-o-Crap he's been doing as a special 1 gallon edition so it's no up atm but might comeback once they fill the orders and see how much stuff they have left. But, due to the COVID restrictions in place I don't think they can cast ATM as only his family are allowed into the warehouse and not any employees so they might be gone for a while.

So are the tablescape tiles officially discontinued then? Had my eye on getting a set of the forgotten city or whatever it was called, though it was low priority for me (I own something like 30 6x4 neoprene mats already)

Seams like it. There's some tiff between SWM and Wargamesfactory over the molds (think WGF wanted more money for them post production) so there won't be any more made unless they repay for new molds at a new factory.

That was 3 years ago an no movement on this. I don't think they'll reappear any time soon as the reason for the current sale is to make room for the new pre-colored bases.

PRESS RELEASE - FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION

9-26-17

SACREMENTO, CA - Secret Weapon Miniatures (Secret Weapon) regrets to announce that the Tablescapes Tiles product line is currently limited to stock-on-hand.
Secret Weapon owns the tools (i.e., molds) to manufacture Tablescapes Tiles. The tools, however, are currently held by Wargames Factory (WGF), the former manufacturer of Tablescapes Tiles. WGF refuses to release the tools back to Secret Weapon despite numerous attempts to resolve an overbilling issue with WGF. Notwithstanding a written agreement between Secret Weapon and WGF that specified the manufacturing costs, WGF overcharged Secret Weapon for the manufacturing of the tiles that resulted in a 50% increase in cost-per-shot, going back back to the original Kickstarter release.

Despite the written agreement, WGF has demanded additional payments to release Secret Weapon’s tools, despite the fact the tools are fully paid for and wholly owned by Secret Weapon.

Further, Secret Weapon agreed to pay the disputed overbilling, under protest, if these funds were put into an escrow account, and were only released when it was confirmed that the tools were in usable condition.
WGF has refused to comply with this offer, and multiple settlement offers, for the return of Secret Weapon’s tools.

As a result, Secret Weapon is actively working to recover the tools from WGF and renew production elsewhere.

Secret Weapon has engaged attorneys (solicitors) in the United States, Hong Kong, and mainland China to pursue legal action against WGF to recover the tools and costs related thereto.

If there is no resolution with WGF, Secret Weapon will use a global crowdfunding platform to relaunch the Tablescapes Tiles product line.

Please Note: Tablescapes Tiles should not be confused with the 2016 Tablescapes Dungeons campaign now featured on Kickstarter. WGF has no involvement in the Dungeons product line, and will not be involved in this, or future, projects.

Weird, I've seen the Tiles go in and out of stock multiple times over the past several years, I guess they keep digging up old stock from their warehouse or whatever.

For several years. He's just had remaining stock for sale on the site for a year or two now, and this sale was to clear out the remaining space to make room for more inventory

Buyer beware.

I ordered some tiles during the sale back at the beginning of June but am now being told they can't fill the order (no refund issued to date). I inquired about my order back in early July and was told there would be a 4 to 6 week turnaround time. There was no info. about them being unable to fill orders at that time. Needless to say I'm frusrated about getting the run around for over two months. I guess i'll be filing a complaint with paypal here shortly.

Sucks they oversold. I figured that would happen to someone since they really didn't know their numbers. I'm sure they'll get you a refund but I know they're short staffed due to COVID and are behind on communication.

I know the shipping delays were due to then having to wait 3 weeks for packaging supplies and they're still only able to work a few days a week.
