Wow. Glad I got my cash back from the Kickstarter when he first said there was a delay (the very first delay, not The thirtieth)

To be fair, the original architect of the creature caster Kickstarter debacle, Jeremy, sold up the company (presumably so that he can go live in his mobile safe space or retire to his yoga retreat), so I believe the current company have no ties to the previous owner.

Except when they bought it they said they would fulfill the Kickstarter orders. If there are people out there that never got their things, they are responsible.

I was under the impression that they'd resolved the outstanding orders that could be proven and that the company had moved on quite a lot since those days. That doesn't mean some didn't slip through the net or that there were some orders the couldn't be reliably traced?

I don't recall hearing/reading of and order issues since the company moved under the new owners and moved past the KS.

It's really tricky to get any information about the company, but their UK registration cites a company in Canada which is registered to a lawyer's offices called "GG Creative" (remember Jeremy's family name is Glen) that has no footprint that I can see.

Also, CC doesn't credit it's sculptors on the site, and they all seem aesthetically consistent, right back to the original KS models.

I remain firmly unconvinced that Jeremy has walked away, and feel it far more likely he just masked his presence.

While I have any element of doubt, CC won't see a penny from me, despite there being many models I can see myself buying.

I recall an "offer" a few years back to ship the KS stuff if you bought something else new for them, strangely it didn't seem like an appealing option at the time. Plus I think remember reading on Dakka at the time there were a lot of quality issues back then - this would have been when the company was first sold to its new management. Not aware of any other attempt to fulfil the KS order (for me anyway).

Like Azreal said I suspect Jeremy is still involved, although clearly not in the management side of things - just based on the fact they're still in business...

I've regularly ordered from them for years now post- KS and have had nothing but good dealings. I was wary for a long time after the KS too.
I'm in the States and they've gotten really good with hub shipping- most my orders ship from one state over either the same day or the next after placing the order.

If they have Jeremy quietly tucked away on the creative side, I'm fine with that- there's no denying he had talent. Whoever's been running the show since has got things in a much better place.

I'd honestly reach out to them again about your KS order. Wouldn't hurt.

I've done a number of orders with them and haven't had any issues. Did back the KS originally and steered clear of them for a while. However after a couple years and the quality of the sculpts coming out, decided to give them a second try.

A couple years ago one of the store locals who is involved with a lot of companies said CC had set it up originally where Jeremy was going to continue to sculpt for them, but the arrangement didn't last long as he proved as unreliable before the KS as after. They go with independent sculptors for their stuff these days. Have stumbled across some of the sculptors on ArtStation.

Wow, thanks for that find Silent25!

I'm always trying to figure out who sculpted what. A shame more of these artists don't get credited with their work.

I spy a LOT of models from different companies in both those artists' portfolios- lots of Raging Heroes, Dark Age, Village Attacks, Planet Apocalypse, and a few other kickstarters I've forgotten the names of.
