Yooooo !!! Darktide looks stellar !.

I am excited about this game,,, I just wanted to post that XD.

Anyone else excited ?

As an aside, as "infinite" rolls is actually impossible even if the FAQ "allows" it, then it will always be a non-zero chance to pass them all. Eventually the two players will die. If they pass the game on to their decendents, they too will eventually die. And, at the end of it all, the universe will experience heat death and it, too, will die. In the instance of "infinite" hits, we're talking more of functional infinity, rather than literal.

RAW you can't pass the game onto descendants, permissive ruleset. Unless we get an FAQ from GW.

Always excited for new Warhammer games that don't get released on mobile platforms (sorry, it just takes away from what could be possible with the game and is often a cash grab).

I just hope they have a better XP / level system than with Vermintide 2. That was the biggest let down of the game for me.

Custom40k Homebrew - Alternate activation, huge customisation, support for all models from 3rd to 10th edition

Designer's Note: Hardened Veterans can be represented by any Imperial Guard models, but we've really included them to allow players to practise their skills at making a really unique and individual unit. Because of this we won't be making models to represent many of the options allowed to a Veteran squad - it's up to you to convert the models. (Imperial Guard, 3rd Edition)

I'm interested but I have been through the game hype cycle way too many times in my life, with many disappointments. So far I have seen a very short announcement cinematic, and a piece of concept art. I will keep an eye out and look at videos at launch before I truely get excited.

I do hope it is good though.

For the consoles only, though. It will be released on Steam and if I remember correctly, during the presentation they said all presented games will be included in Microsoft's monthly game subscription (4€/month). The subscription covers both games on PC and Xbox.

If its on steam, I am happy.

Have there been anything more than the trailer ? It was all i had seen off it.
Assuming its a FPS could be fun. 4play co op left for dead style can be a lot of fun done well.

here is the steam page

its by the same people as Vermintide,,,, it seems like it'll be a L4D style FPS at least by the looks of everything.

Ahh, Cool. I liked Vermintide so that is ok with me for the most part. Still not showing off enough to really have anything more to say myself here.

Yup, can't see to much from the teaser.

I'd be really be interested if they can make it feel like the 40K universe, rather than just a tacticool FPS with a 40K skin.

I assume it will be a timed windows store exclusive or something. Coming to pc doesn't mean Steam immediately.

I mean it's advertised as coming to steam. But that didn't stop other games to go exclusive on a different pc gaming platform anyway.

Yeah but could be like a year delay. Not saying there will be, of course. Just that its possible. Unless they literally say it is coming at the same time, they have wiggle room in their wording.

Steam at least claims release date is "2021" XD.

It's a console exclusive on Xbox first which means that Microsoft has had some sort of investment into the project (even just paying for the exclusivity).

In the past you might have been right but recently Microsoft have seemingly given up trying to push the Windows store as an exclusive distribution platform (other than Game Pass) and have been simultaneously been releasing their PC versions on Steam as well.

So it'd be very out of character for it not to release at the same time on both Microsoft Store and Steam.

Fair enough. I must admit that whenever I look at game company statements, it is always from the angle of "how is what people think they are saying different from what they are technically saying".

But this isn't a Microsoft game. It's just something that will be released on Microsoft console, and MS probably paid for console exclusivity but didn't feel like paying for actual exclusivity.
