Is there a novel that details how trazyn met cawl and gave him the codes to activate the cadian monoliths? Could someone name it for me please?

nope it's just covered in gathering stoirm 1. TBH stuff like that baffles me. GW could have easily made a dozen novels about the events of TGS but didn't.

I think the only depiction I know of is one of the cutscenes of BFG:Armada II, where he just appears behind Cawl while he’s working on the Pylons. Some might not see that as Canon, though.

Isn't that just the same as the Gathering Storm story?
