Great stuff!

How is the video game anyway, I could use something mindless for an upcoming trip

Thanks. The video games are OK, up there in the top 5 of Warhammer (40k and fantasy) games. I wouldn't take my opinion though, I get easily bored.

He looks really cool, is the dark armour just Leadbelcher with Nuln and Agrax then edge highlight with Leadbelcher? A really classic look

Thanks, you're almost there with the recipe.

I actually used Vallejo Metal Color Dark Aluminium. In hindsight Leadbelcher may have worked the same. Then after several layers of Nuln oil (2 or 3, maybe even 4), and 1 Agrax layer in between layers of Nuln oil, I edge highlighted with Stormhost Silver.

What I would do differently if I did him again is work out some better colours for the axe handle/shaft (and find a handle/shaft that actually match and fits properly) as I feel it adds too much colour to the model. I'd also probably use the gloss variant of Nuln oil, although I guess I can go back and put a gloss clear coat over the armour - there's no clear coat (varnish) on the model at the moment.

I'd also try to do the horns better - I need to work out which paint to use to properly glaze over the coffee staining Contrast Skeleton Horde leaves.
