I have the space marine side of the indomitus box, I am looking at switching out the pauldrons and was trying to see if people were using gravis pauldrons or the standard primaris size to replace them.

get ready for a ton of cutting. I was originally going this route but decided to use pre-existing arms from my bits box since I didnt feel like chopping up the shoulders.

That said, I plan on using MKIII pauldrons for the multipart kit.

Most of the shoulderpads are molded on and will require a LOT of cutting. The chaplain is one where it was an easy swap.

For the assault intercessors, the arms are all flush mounts to the torso, so full arm swaps should be easy. As opposed to a lot of the guys from the DI box, where it was a mixed bag with some joins at the shoulder, some below the pad, some elbow, etc.

I am good with the cutting into the shoulders, I am building them in smaller batches, just can't get a good judgement on if they would need the larger "gravis" pads or if the normal Mk. 10 pads would work for them.

I think the only gravis armor in the box is on the melta guys. Everyone else should be the normal pads.

I switched them all to Deathwatch pauldrons.

The size of their pauldrons isn't as clearly cut by armour mark as other sets before, most notably Dark Imperium.

I found these sizes to fit for the models:
Captain -> Gravis/Terminator size
Lt -> Gravis/Terminator size
Chaplain -> normal size
Judicar -> Gravis/Terminator size
Bladeguards+Ancient -> Gravis/Terminator size
Eradicators -> Gravis/Terminator size
Bikers and Intercessors -> normal size
