Anyone order a Made To Order Indomitus have it sent out yet? Or is that 120 days to ship looking like a hard limit?

I didn't order one, but didn't they say expect it in like December?

Close enough, they said 120 days, which would put it in November or so. I'm just curious if that was worst case scenario and base covering, or if that was a hard and fast deadline kind of thing.

Mine came 2nd half of August which was a pleasant surprise

I strongly suspect location plays a massive part in this. Maharg looks to be UK based, and Breton you're in the US correct?
What with Covid going on, international shipping became a bit more complicated, and it also stands to reason the GW factory would look to accommodate the UK orders and get them out the door first, just to get them done.

I ordered a Made-to-Order box. However, once the limited edition-ness was removed, I was suddenly able to get an initial run box. Make of it as you will.

Sorry I can't help with the actual question.

I ordered mine though Frontline Gaming, so I imagine those sorts will be the last of the last sent out.

Still pending. ~Nov 11th should be the last date to start shipping (ordered 14 JUL). I've already grabbed one from the LGS (pre-orderer dropped out), so I'm not even sure if I want a second one now, since I can get similar stuff from the starter kits...I wonder if I can cancel it.

It's nice to see that nobody's expressed unreasonable anger at this lack of movement. I'm sure we all hoped that it was going to be a worst-case timeframe, but the 120-day delay was clear from the get-go.

I too looked to see if I can cancel. I got one initial run, then ordered two Made To Orders. I pretty much want the second Made To Order for the Indomitus LT, and probably the Judiciar in my Combi-wing DA, but definitely would have switched the third to a Starter Set for the scenery, and still getting the bikes, then filled in the Assault Intercessors with kits for posing and upgrades.

Using my Res Orb here. The 120-day mark has passed and I'm still pending. Am I the lone schmuck or are there more of us still waiting for some movement on the product?

Where did you order them from, direct from GW?

Same here. I am not expecting it till December. I did grab one from an flg back during the first run but wanted 2 of them, and the flg was a bit iffy if I would get a box, but it worked out.

Canada here, I ordered my MTO as soon as the option was available. I got my shipping notice email from GW last week, and a tracking number.

I'm on the preorder list for one at my FLGS (Seattle, USA). They said to tentatively expect it by the end of November, but not to be surprised if it winds up being December.

I don't know if/how LGS orders and direct orders via Made to Order are related.

So I'm not alone, but it's a mixed bag. Thanks for the responses fellas.

I wasn't even expecting to receive the kit at 120 days, just that it would've been sent. As this is my second Indom kit (lucky to get one from my LGS on release) and what I got from recruit/elite starters, I'm only really interested in 12 models. 9 of those are just to have as options. Frankly, this is probably what'll finally break my willingness to be understanding or to ever advocate on GW's behalf.

This did get me thinking:

So with the Made To Order Indomitus Boxes shipping out, I wondered what you could come up with if you really leaned into their contents.

Indomitus Cap
Primaris Chaplain
2x Indomitus Captains

2x3 Blade Guard Veterans.
Judiciar
Judiciar
Primaris Cheif Apothecary.

6x5 Assault Intercessors (Power Fist on the Sgt)

2x3 Outriders

2x3 Eradicators

First things I thought of:

That's a lot of swords
That's a lot of melee

I wish I was playing BA or Wolves.

If someone got 2 shields from somehrewe, they could use the judicar and the Lt as the 4th and 5th blade guard. Then just a transport for each unit. the outriders to grab objectives and harrase the eradictors to deep strike and blow up stuff.

the sad non bolter intercessors being sad on objectives .

All it needs is some fast moving HQs like a biker chaplain and a jump pack Lt, and 2-3 redemptors with plasma and it is good to go.

The problem is of course, how does one get indomitus boxs in countries where GW decided to not send that many. Does have its good sides though. No worries about eradictors dominated meta, when most marine players can dream of having 3, and most have zero of those bad boys.

Usually MTO's been reasonably quick, nowhere near 120 days. However the GW is currently getting SWAMPED by online orders so their resources are quite thin. I ordered some stuff 30.10 and they are STILL pending. Yesterday got response to query about status and they said it should be getting dispatched within 7 days. That could be like about 3 week delivery time for stuff that had stock.

When you factor in need to produce boxes, all the sprues, books etc...

Covid precautions slowing down combined with huge flood of online orders=one busy staff. And due to covid precautions adding more staff isn't probably feasible as there's only so many that can work in area while maintaining safety distances.

Ah yes. GW's obviously in control of covid. They obviously can just wave their hand and it will go away! Or maybe you think GW is some evil corporation pulling strings of UK goverment so it's GW's fault goverment hasn't been able to keep covid on track? Or maybe you expect GW to put their staff at risk to covid resulting in death and permanent lung and heart damages to survivors but that's all right because plasitc toys gets shipped out faster?

Either way curious world view you have whichever those 3 it is.

The only thing(s) that didn't come in the box(es) are 6 power fist bits, and the Apothecary. I"m not sure its something I'd play, especially as non-BA/SW but it did kind of drop my jaw.

@tneva82

Actually none of those. If you read most of my previous posts, I'm usually understanding of what GW has to do as a publically traded business entity, as well as the difficulties with balancing the game. Sometimes to the extent of even being accused of white knighting. I understood & advocated patience for the 120-day delay because of the production issues stemming from COVID and how they directly expressed that timeframe.

"We don’t have an exact delivery date just now, but it might be up to 120 days before you receive your copy."

Up to 120 to receive, meaning they had a plan to produce and send them all 2-4 weeks before 120-days. I wouldn't even have been upset if it was just up to 120 to send, and the reason I didn't complain until some of us have passed that point without movement on the orders. It's also not like it was a 30-day thing, it's been four months. To top it off, they don't even have the professionalism to give notice of further delay, one they should've had a grasp on at least weeks ago. It's a bad showing mate.

"Warhammer shops will stay open (wherever it is safe for them to do so), our webstores are standing by to take your orders, and our factories and warehouses are operating safely "

This is in their response in regards to the government's restrictions. Blaming the COVID ship only floats for so long.

Safely does not necessarily mean at full expected capacity though. The distribution centre at my employers is run ragged at the moment trying to meet demand while maintaining all the required precautions.
