AdMech also have similar issues - a lot of weapons only differe slightly from marines but these seem to have been missed. e.g. cognis weapons. they even have servo-arms which lost the -1 to hit in the marines codex, but nowhere else.
as far as I can see they have not updated CSM profiles with the extra wound either yet?

Wounds updates were never coming until the new codex.
The original post stated that weapon updates are only ones that exactly match the ones in the marines codex. If it's even slightly different, you have to wait till your codex.
The current post makes it sound like they were updating all flamers/plasma/melta, but I think it is just a case of GW's right hand not knowing what it's left hand is doing.
Looking at the changes, the only changes that were made were to weapons that are in the space marine codex, to relics that replaced those weapons, and to plasma generally to explode on unmodified 1s instead of 1s.

on the new smaller tables?
I mean, yea okay but still, an additional AP is nothing to sneeze at and yet the more clunky and heavier Autocannon has gotten nothing in exchange aswell to the uplifting of the heavy bolter and is now by virtue of that worse then the heavy bolter against most things?

So now lighting claws reroll ALL wounds instead of just fails? I knew about the extra attack, but, hell yeah, warp talons, meet VOTLW. Of course they forgot to add that to Claws of The Black Hunt in its update.

Saddly they haven't actually for a lot of factions when you read the PDF it's often 1 weapon and all that has been changed is MW on hit roll of 1 is now unmodified rolls of 1 thanks GW that really makes a massive difference.

You've both misread the rule, and missed understanding of how attacks work. In 9th ed, even when speed rolling, all attacks are assumed to happen one-by-one from a rules perspective.
Also, note that the lightning claw states you "can" reroll the wound roll - you're not forced to.

No, he means that a warp talon attacking with a -1 to wound wouldn't reroll the natural (whatever is required to wound before the modifier)'s before. Now it can.

So are they waiting a day to update weapons for fw units? My Achilles wants it's 8 melta shots now please, and my Fellblade needs its D2 twin heavy bolter, they've both already paid for them. And give my Contemptor his D2d3/D6 against vehicles chainclaws already!

Including some hilarious counter assault shenanigans - like give Sanguinor the ba warlord trait to combo with Miraculous Saviour... (Which, being a datasheet ability and not a strat means it can't be Vect'd, etc)
No Core keyword on any of the ba unique Dread variants though, which is a pity.

Who need cheap when you can make them unkillable, 1+,4++, 6+++ only wounded on a 4,5,6 and that apocothory giving you that 6+++, can heal 3w twice per turn and res 1 model with full wounds.
Shooting Deathwing is going to be like throwing peas at a battlebarge.

I believe it was mentioned in the community article that they'd get it too, but if it isn't in this update, it might well only come along with the Codex.

Yeah one of the notable things about Deathwing units is how cheap and spammable they are.
Keep in mind, even if you keep them with default weapons, you have to pay for the power fists since they have a listed point value. So a basic 5 man squad is 33 (for the sergeant and his powersword) + 4 x 38. 185 total.
That's actually up from the 175 in CA2020
TH/ SS only goes from 42/model to 43/model though, as storm shields are free (for terminator units).
---
By comparison, in the new SM Codex, a normal terminator squad is 38/model. (No power sword discount)
Assault terminators are 33, or 43 for TH/ SS.
DA are getting huge rules benefits on their terminators for no cost.
