Do you guys count the models base when judging los. Example; all I can see when targeting a unit is it’s base, can I shoot it?

Question nr.2; Can my opponent look underneath a devilfish (between the base and hull) and target the unit behind the devilfish.

Thank you in advance

Yes and Yes. LOS is to any part of the model, and the base is part of the model. Fish of Fury has been dead for a long time.

BCB is 100% right on RAW.

That said, in certain situations I elect to simply not make the shot when I have to track LoS underneath a massive tank or through the cabin of a walker, for example.

7 Ork facts people always get wrong:
Ragnar did not win against Thrakka, but suffered two crushing defeats within a few days of each other.
A lasgun is powerful enough to sever an ork's appendage or head in a single, well aimed shot.
Orks meks have a better understanding of electrics and mechanics than most Tech Priests.
Orks actually do not think that purple makes them harder to see. The joke was made canon by Alex Stewart's Caphias Cain books.
Gharkull Blackfang did not even come close to killing the emperor.
Orks can be corrupted by chaos, but few of them have any interest in what chaos offers.
Orks do not have the power of believe.
