Can anyone enlighten me on the differences between the two and what the end result of gloss vs regular nuln creates?

I've heard that the gloss oddly has less sheen/shine is this correct? Any images comparing the two would be much appreciated!

Not seen that - gloss for me is, well, glossier. I also find the gloss flows into the recesses a bit better.

Cheers bud, I did think it sounded completely counter-intuitive - I'll give it a go on a model I'm not going to use in my army to have a look at the finish.

Yep I've heard it moves better, using a contract black for the recesses so I won't be using it in that way, I am lazy but I think you can bling the armor a lot
better with an actual black.
